I’ve been using Oral b toothbrushes for years. This is the first one that accumulated toothpaste and other stuff under the head so much. I just cleaned my family’s 3 oral b toothbrushes and this is the only one that was actually gross. Works fine but def design error.

Inaccurate Description
Item description is inaccurate. The black Oral-B Series 3 electric toothbrush does not include a carry case, while it is noted as including a basic one in the item description and photo included within the images. As you can see from the photos, the two purchased for my wife and I, both the same model, note on the packaging that a carry case is included with pink, but not the black (as shown on box front)

I like Oral B toothbrushes because I prefer the round brush heads. I like that this brush has a timer and different settings (i.e.clean, whitening), but I give it four stars instead of five for two reasons. 1. It’s rougher on my teeth than other electric toothbrushes I’ve tried. 2. The battery charge only lasts three weeks, as opposed to the several weeks that I get out of other electric toothbrushes I’ve used. It bought the pink color and it came with the travel case.

Frustrated and Annoyed
The toothbrush is fine. The advertising is why I rate it lower. I didn’t realize I needed to buy extra brush heads and a travel case in order for my husband and I to use this immediately. I bought the additional heads so I didn’t have to figure out which ones to get in 6 months. The advertising and pictures make it seem like they are included with the iO3 series and iO5 series.

mold! ew!!!!
mold! it accumulates mold on the weird open head super fast. I have never had this issue with any other toothbrush. truly disgusting, tried to keep the head stored separately when not in use and clean it often but the toothbrush itself was still gross, ditched it. worst most expensive toothbrush experience of my life.

Unhygienic toothbrush-Ew!
It’s hard to explain but it smells weird while in use. Like laundry that’s been left in the washer too long. I kept thinking it was my pajamas so I washed them all again then figured out it’s this brush. I pulled the head off and it was so gross and I’ve only had it a couple weeks. I always rinse and wipe my brush off. This also always no matter how much I wiped it down left residue all over my counter every time. Never have I had a toothbrush do that. Returning. Won’t buy this brand again for this price not worth the trouble

No travel case
I chose this model over other cheaper Oral-B models because it was stated in the description that it came with a travel case. There was no travel case in the box, so I am returning it. I have not used it, so I can’t speak to its effectiveness.

Have had for a week and can definitly tell the difference.
I really appreciate the visible iO pressure sensor, which helps guide you by signaling when you're brushing with too little, the right amount of, or too much pressure. (See the ‘Protect your gums photos from the company). As well as the vibration to tell you when to move to the next quadrant of your mouth, I do wish it would turn off after the 2 minutes are up instead of remaining on. I’ve only used the daily clean setting so can not speak on the sensitive and whitening options, I also appreciate the pulsing light that turns off when it’s done charging when I did the initial charge. I am still getting use to the round brush head but it does help reach the hard to reach spots in the back of my jaw as well as the overcrowded front teeth I have from my small lower jaw.

Truly amazing
As someone who is admittedly horrible about brushing their teeth, I used this thing for the first time and my goodness, my teeth feel as clean as if I just walked out of the dentist office. Other electric and manual toothbrushes I have had in the past do not compare to this one. I do want to give you a heads up. This one doesn’t come with the case or the extra head, that’s the iO series 3 limited. That being said you’re still getting the same toothbrush and the same quality minus the extra accessories.

Disappointed
Disappointed with this purchase. I opened the box and the item appears to have been used. The power button has a sticky residue on it, and the unit looks dirty. The travel case was also missing, even though the product description indicates that one is included. I’ll be returning it to the store tomorrow.

First couple cleans felt like it works so much better than a regular toothbrush. I think it's a pretty good product. I do not like how you can't tell what mode you're in. AND, it didn't come with the travel case and extra head that I paid for.
