The BEST self tanner! I have a skin tone that gets very dark in the summer sun. I've been trying to protect my skin better and still look like I judy got back from the beach! Tanologist is a great solution! I've been uding self tanners for 4 years and this one is the best lotion one I've found at a reasonable price! I NEVER get streaks. Even on my feet and ankles. It looks natural and I get complimented on my glow year round. Make sure you shower, exfoliate, and rub in completely!

I’ve been using this daily for the past month and I will say it does give you a gradual glow if you do use it daily 1-2 times a day. However, I just recently noticed my skin has been itching like crazy! No visual bumps or rashes but can’t stop itching now. So I’m going to stop using it and see if that was the cause.

Best tanning lotion I have used in my life. No streaking. You can layer for more color as soon as the first coat dries. The smell is a normal fake tan smell but Jergens is way worse. I am on my second bottle. Purchased the one for light to medium skin. Will be a forever customer, I can’t say it enough how well this works and glides on like butter.

A real bargain!
Okay so I would NOT consider myself a self-tanner expert, but I've done it before and have much preferred a spray tan. Due to my sloppiness I've always given myself streaks. This is by far the EASIEST self-tanning product I've used. After just one use it gave me a great glow! If you want a more immediate color change then I would double up on layers. I will say mine was still a little patchy in certain areas, but I think this is more user error on my part and can be easily solved by using a tan mitt. I used a brush for my fingers and neck and that seemed to be the right move. I will say what others have expressed as it leaving a slight fake-tan smell after its developed but I think this could be masked with a lotion. Overall, I think this is a great alternative when you want something at home, and the price point is amazing!

I really wanted to love this product as I love tanologist. It does give off a nice bronzed color but no where near dark as It claims. The smell is terrible at first it’s lovely but as it processes it smells like fake tan that needs washed off this is the biggest problem for me. I do not recommend if you don’t like the smell of fake tan and actually want to be dark.

It works even after first use
I dont ever use self tanner but I wanted something to give me alittle glow during winter. It definitely works - it gives you that buildable glow. It does smell like coconuts when you first put it on but after the smell on your body gives thar tanning bed smell. But I can deal with it. Be careful over elbows, knees and ankles. Pretty much anywhere dry. I did exfoliate before use but it still sticks and changes dry areas to a slight fake tan orange look. Again not terrible - but it's alittlw noticeable. I will continue to use this.

It's okay..
I wanted to love this but that's not totally the case. It does work, however it does take a few days in my opinion to see any real change. My biggest complaint is that it smells like a spray tan. I am not a fan of how spray tans smell and how no matter what perfume you use you can't disguise the scent. If I wanted to smell like a spray tan I would just self tan that way which would be a lot faster. It is very hydrating and also easy to apply. Overall it does work but it depends what you're looking for. A spray tan would be quicker and easier but this is nice as an everyday use besides the smell.
