Q: Does this have to be used only in the machine or can I put it in a spray bottle and spray it onto the soiled area of my carpet and then wipe off?

A: Hi Gloria. Yes, you can use the BISSELL Little Green Spot & Stain Formula in a spray bottle for spot cleaning carpet an dupholstery if you dilute it (about 1 part formula to 4 parts water). Test a small area first.

The TurboClean PowerBrush Pet (Model 2806) is an upright carpet cleaner, and BISSELL recommends using formulas specifically designed for upright models to ensure proper performance and avoid damage. A: Good question! We always recommend testing a small hidden area prior to use, but it should only remove dirt and oils from your carpet and fabric, NOT color.

Not worth the price
I am obsessed with my green machine, but I can't justify the cost of this special cleaner. Of course, they warn you to *only* use their special cleaner, but I haven't had any issues using the same products I use elsewhere (mostly diluted white vinegar). Tons of plastic packaging and chemicals, when I can just use my less expensive, kinder-to-the-planet cleaners. It's a pass for me.

Stain buster... no more busted back pain

It exploded that stubborn stain and cleaned it right away! Along with the mini green machine by Bissell, it has made life easy again when getting rid of stains! Clean Results, Clean Scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sensitive to strong-smelling cleaning products, but I took a gamble and purchased three bottles of Spot & Stain. I tested it on a very old, filthy fabric chair seat using the Little Green Machine Pro-Heat Portable without pre-treating. Wow! The results were amazing. No strong smell either. Smells like clean linen. TIP: Test soap and scrubbing on a hidden section of fabric upholstery. Be gentle when scrubbing fabric upholstery to not damage the fabric. Shout Out to Just a Dad Videos on YouTube for helping me decide to purchase Little Green Machine Pro-Heat Portable and this amazing soap.
