Decent mount, bad instructions.
The mount is pretty sturdy but it did come a bit damaged due to poor packaging. Those urethane foam doesn't take impact very well and it bent the vesa mounting bracket. Not a big deal as I was able to straighten it. Works well with a 77" Sony A80K OLED TV. The TV weighs 78lbs. I bought a Mount-It universal soundbar mount to add to knowing the one I have can't be attached to the cross bar on this mount (there is no place to screw in). Unfortunately the way this mount is designed, it is not compatible with the add-on mount. The handles gets in the way. Note that the instructions said to use 3/16" drill to drill a hole for the bolt. DO NOT do that. The hole will be larger than the bolt resulting in a hole that you can't screw into. Luckily this is the lower hole so I move the mount an inch higher and drilled again with a smaller bit. The pictures in the instructions are also kinda small so it take a bit of probing to figure out the right way to mount the pieces.

Absolutely horrible to use. You see the mount and wiring under the TV when mounted above the fireplace.

Garbage Mount. Instructions do not match product.
I have nothing positive to say about this mount. Instructions are terrible. Screw locations are impossible to access for setting up. Tension is way to strong even when turning to lowest setting. I weigh 220lbs and had to use my full body weight to lower the unit. Unit is not designed for OLED TVs where connections are screw holes are at the lower half of the unit. I would return it but i bought it a while ago and never got a chance to set it up becaise the remodel of that room took way longer than expected. Do not buy this mount.

Very heavy tv mount
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pull-down fireplace mount was hard to put together. It took hours, and the instructions were confusing. It wouldn't stay up like it's supposed to. Seems pretty sturdy but just not very safe. It has already fallen off the wall.

Quality adjustable TV mount.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mount was easy to install over my fireplace. It seems to be fairly solid and seems to be made with quality. Appears to work with most TVs, though I wonder how it would work with more modern and lighter TVs as the needed weight to keep it pulled down is quite a bit. Item appears to be quality and safe for children around it.

Over fireplace tv mount
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We watched the YouTube video they have on their website to install it and helped a decent amount. It’s nice for owners that have a fireplace and don’t want it so high up when watching tv. Noticed it does tilt forward so will try to readjust and tighten to hopefully stop the tv from doing that.

Make ur house luxury and very clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Matterial very nice and clean, i mount at my bed room and my kid 7 years old tv to bring up and down. Little hard for setup bc it heavy, need 2 people for setup but it great mouting TV, make your house look more luxury.

Do Not Buy!
I just purchased this mount last week and installed it this afternoon. The television exceeds the minimum weight requirement for this mount and I adjusted the tension to the minimum and the tv will not stay down! The instructions also did not match some of the supplied parts. I am going to try and add some exercise weights to the back to see if that works!

Failed right away.
Failed right away. Don't buy. Not easy to put together or adjust. Multiple discrepancies in the installation guide. But what is the most important, this mount has a faulty design. The TV kept tilting forward even when the adjustment handle was tightened. After multiple attempts to readjust and fix it in vertical position, the level just came off.
