Lightweight Shampoo
I've only recently started using Cantu products and this shampoo, along with the conditioner, was one of the first things I bought. It worked well enough but I think my hair needs something a bit more heavy duty. I have wavy/curly hair that tends be a bit dry and frizzy, especially when it's rainy out. I like a shampoo & conditioner that works well with, or without adding product to my hair immediately afterwards. Sometimes I just want a break from product, especially on days when I don't have anywhere to be and I'm just planning to wash my hair and let it air dry. This one didn't quite make the cut. It's definitely lightweight though. The formula is also free from harsh ingredients and vegan-friendly, if those things are important to you.

Not bad for my damaged hair

I have been using the shampoo for about a week and a half now I feel like my hair used to be much more bouncy and have some beautiful beachy waves but overtime due to chemical treatments it has gotten damage and is in deep need of repair. This shampoo has helped give it a little bit of its life back. I do have to use a conditioner with it or I feel like it does dry my hair a little bit, but since my hair has been treated, I need a lot of moisture to keep it from being dry. I feel like it doesn’t weigh my hair down, which is good since I don’t like my hair feeling heavy.

Super Lightweight and Scalp feeling Clean

The shampoo lathers nicely and after rinsing it, my hair felt moisturised and my scalp also felt clean and was not irritated. The dry down was also good. I got this hoping it would help control my frizz and waves and I'm really glad to say it did! After a small number of uses I could see a big difference in the volume of frizz in my hair and my waves are so much more defined! I'm so shocked at the definition of them as I never thought I could achieve such intensity but here i am! I'm so so so happy to say that I no longer look like a lion with an unruly mane when I brush my hair🙏
