Very convenient and works well
This is a replacement for the hand held sealer that stopped charging. So far the new one seems to be working very well. The suction is great. I sealed some veggies that stayed fresh beyond the time I thought they would. ( a half of an onion and half a green pepper). That did impress me. I haven't tried marinating yet but I will soon. I do like the portability,

Sadly won't do what it says it would.
This was supposed to 'work with all Foodsaver accessories' - it doesn't. It does not work on the expensive Fresh Canisters I had already purchased. About two weeks ago, I purchased an adaptor you said would allow me to use my mini with those canisters. I just received the adaptor and it doesn't fit the mini, nor 'adapt' to use with the canisters. Is there anything that will do that? Or are my expensive canisters just out of luck?

Mini vac faulty
Mini unit shuts down after 4-5 seconds requiring you you constantly depress the button..Thevunit worked fine for two weeks and than started doing this. Disappointed

Handheld Sealer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this little thing! This one is a replacement...I wore out the first one. Can't live without this brilliant machine in my kitchen. This sealer and the great bags keep my food nice and fresh in the freezer. As a Senior, it's nice to prepare things ahead of time and know that it will be as good as the day I prepared it.

Awesome product
I paid for 1/2 of this with points from buying a ton of the new bags with the circle vacuum to use with the reg device. But I hardly ever used it as it was such a hassle. So I bought this. It is so easy to use and works great. I use it for all types of food. Put grapes in a bag, eat a few and seal it back up. I have to use my teeth to begin pressing the bag edges together when sealing and then run my fingers over to make sure it’s completely sealed. That bags not coming open!! Thank you food saver!!!

Decent Product, however the supplies (bags) make this an outrageously expensive way to vacuum items. Better to go with lesser known name and supplies.

I am really impressed with this FoodSaver Mini Handheld Sealer. I primarily use it for my deli containers, and it handles the job perfectly. Why I love it: Compact & Cordless: The charging dock keeps it ready to go without cluttering my counter with wires. Impressive Power: For such a small device, it has plenty of suction power to keep my food fresh. Marinate Mode: The specific setting for marinating is a great bonus that works faster than traditional soaking. Pro-Tip: If you have some older containers, just keep in mind that you might need to swap out the attachment piece to get a perfect seal. Once you have the right fit, it works like a charm! Don't leave it in the charging deck. There is a design flaw, it will repeat charging the battery until kill it. Either using a tape to block the charging contact points (remove the tape when need charging), or not leaving it in the deck.

Ripped off on bags
I love this little sealer but bought more bags and instead of 10 quart size there were 3. In the gallon box instead of 10 there were 4. These bags are very expensive and I feel you should send me the bags I was cheated out of.

Worked well 17 - 20 times
Received the mini handheld FS3130 as a gift, Christmas 2025. Began using mid-January 2026. On Feb 4 2026 the unit failed to operate (battery LED shows low charge). Battery no longer holds charge - after approximately 17 - 20 uses. Warranty claim form does not show this model (FS3130). Warranty states that products must be purchased from an authorized reseller. It was a gift, I have no idea where it was purchased. Not optimistic about warranty coverage.

Total junk !!!
I put the unit in the charge cradle for 2 days. Light turned green. Used it a few times, even went to get more bags. Now the unit shows that it is charged but when you take it out and press the button nothing happens. Press the button again and the light flashes red. This was a Christmas present. Tried to fill out the warranty form, on line and it just kept kicking me out of the program. Piece of junk!!

terrible product
I bought this handheld model last march. It's already quit working. I tried to file a waranty claim online but it's so complicated. They wanted about 5 to 7 different pictures and a date code which I never did get to take. I had purchased the same hand held once before and it quit working within a week. I should have known not to get another one.
