Really helping chemo skin
I am on chemotherapy and having lots of skin issues. Santa put this in my stocking. It seems to really be helping with the loss of firmness in my skin. It's great to find something that makes this journey a little better.

Beware-feels like topical lava on sensitive skin!!!
DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE ROSACEA!!! I have Erythematotelangiectatic Rosacea (ETR), and this stuff was like like putting lava on my face. I wish I had taken pictures because it was insane. My face was an angry, beet red and I could actually feel the heat radiating from my cheeks. I'm going to assume that my skin reacted to the vitamin C in the serum, but who really knows. I'm 38 years old and spent a lot of time in tanning beds and worshipping the sun until my late 20s. Right around my first pregnancy about 5 years ago, I started to notice all the damage I did starting to manifest-so I've been trying to get ahead of the age lines and hyperpigmentation caused by countless sunburns. Anyways, I was hoping that I could add this to my regimen, but nope. I think I might have been better off rubbing ghost pepper salsa on my face. I'm sure this stuff is great for many people, but unfortunately, I'm not one of those people 🤷♂️.

Really good serum just two changes needed!
THis is an excellent vitamin c serum the only two changes Neutrogena should make is put this in an airless pump as vitamin c can oxidize in the air and two, it does smell like hot dog water but the smell does not linger for too long. Overall this is a really good serum just make these two changes and if you can't get rid of the smell, at least put it in an airless pump bottle.

Terrible smell
I just bought this yesterday and when i used it today and put it on my face, i was immediately hit with a disgusting smell. I’m not sure if its supposed to smell like that or if the product has gone bad but its enough to turn me off from using it again.

It smells like rancid meat grease, but works great. I reached out to Neutrogena and they took the lot number and acted like it wasn’t normal, but didn’t explicitly say if it was or wasn’t when I asked. I returned the product.

It smells awful
I unfortunately can’t speak to its effectiveness, bc I was only able to use this once. The smell is so horrendous, smells like others say of beef/broth/meat and also very chemically/metallic. If it werent for my kids not wanting to be around me when I have this on, they I might have continued. Not collected as part of a promo, so this is an unbiased opinion. Would have loved to be able to keep it though.

i'm not sure of this product's theraputic benefits because i can't get past the smell. i'm wondering if the collagen is 'bovine' because this smells so meaty. maybe i got a bad batch but i'm afraid i'll smell like steak tartar - and not in a good way!!!

Doesn’t play well with other products
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it may be effective due to the high potency, this serum didn’t agree with me. I found the smell to be overwhelming and the serum didn’t play well with other products I used it with, even others in the Collagen Bank line by Neutrogena. When combining products, I experienced pilling, which meant I couldn’t do my whole skincare routine and add SPF like I prefer to.
