Like the formula. Don't like that it takes 2 scoops which equal 1 scoop from other formulas. It also leaves a gross residue in bottles that i have to wash out before putting in my bottle washer. But my baby seemed to have no issues switching to this formula. We use it to supplement breastfeeding.

The residue you noticed, it usually comes down to two things working together: Your baby’s saliva mixing into the bottle during feeding. And iron in the formula reacting with air. When those combine and sit at room temp, you can sometimes see a color change or residue form.

Not a fan. Would not buy again, uses palm oil and for some reason doesn’t dissolve easily. You have to shake very aggressively for it to dissolve, so make sure you have good anti colic bottles. For the exact same price you can buy kend*mill and it has no palm oil. Also if you let the bottles sit out and the formula is gone it turns the bottles & nipples orange so i definitely would not buy or recommend.

Instead, we use a structured fat blend with beta-palmitate to more closely mirror the fat profile of breastmilk and support gentler digestion, better absorption, and softer stools. All formulas include iron, but the way minerals are combined can sometimes make harmless residue a bit more visible. Totally normal and not a sign of spoilage or quality concerns.

This is my second baby,

This is my second baby, and I originally planned to exclusively breastfeed, but things happen, and I found myself searching for the best formula for my baby—one that was as close to breast milk as possible. That’s how I ended up trying Munchkin, and we both really love it! I don’t plan on switching formulas anytime soon. It doesn’t upset her stomach, she sleeps really well after having it, and I love that the can is so big, so I don’t have to repurchase it as often.

Beware of Stained Bottles

My baby accepted this formula well (although the first couple of days we did have some spit up but I heard that’s normal when transitioning to a different formula). Burps and diaper changes were regular. I loved the single scoop scooper so it was easy to do 1:1 water to formula ratios. I absolutely hated how this rust-colored residue would be left on the bottle after a feed. The stain would not come off in the bottle washer so I had to hand wash the bottles after every feed. Due to the staining and the extra cleaning I had to do, I am not going to continue using this formula long term.

I really love what this

I really love what this formula is made with. It’s made with USDA Organic Milk from grass-fed New Zealand cows and has a simple ingredient profile that includes 10 ingredients also found in breast milk. I also love that it uses a blend of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates designed to support easy digestion. As a mom, I really appreciate knowing what I’m feeding my baby!

Not a fan of it. i have tried 3 brands before this and i dont like how it blends, looks like it always leaves a residue on the bottle. Also the formula turns brown within the hour not being washed. None of this happened with other brands

My baby is breastfed and used to prepare cereals and emergency bottles for her. She did drink the milk and noticed she was satisfied! Overall recommend as an addition in a combo feeding routine!

Its alright

My baby simply didn't seem to enjoy this, he was having difficulty finishing bottles until we changed brands. It also left a weird brownish grey residue in the bottle, not sure what that's from.

I guess I should've looked

I guess I should've looked into it more closely before ordering, but was very disappointed to find out after it arrived that it's made with skim (not whole) milk. Baby has also been spitting up a lot more than usual, even though we're only using a couple ounces of this per bottle. I want to use it now that we've purchased 4 cans, but I may have to take the loss and donate it.

I like that the scoop

I like that the scoop comes attached at the top so you can grab it before you even open the foil to expose the formula. The formula doesn’t smell bad when you open it like some. My baby still has a lot of gas, but seems to pass it fairly easy compared to when we used other formulas. No problems with baby drinking the formula either… he is 75% breast milk and 25% formula.

A new favorite!

We introduced this to my almost one year old when it came into Target, he loved it! We used it up until we weaned him off of formula a few months later. I also really liked the internal storage "hook" for keeping the scoop handy!! I also bought it for my 8-month old nephew :)
