Description
The Hamilton Beach® Durathon® Digital Nonstick Iron has a nonstick soleplate that’s 10 times more durable than traditional nonstick. For superior wrinkle removal, it has 80% more steam* and 1800 watts of power. For easy storage after ironing, the retractable 8 foot cord quickly winds into the base. To make selecting your fabric easy, the illuminated digital button on top of the handle lets you select your fabric with one touch. To choose your fabric, simply press the button, which illuminates each setting. For peace of mind, the Durathon Digital Nonstick Iron has 3-way auto shutoff, which turns the iron off in 60 seconds if it falls facedown or on its side and in 30 minutes if it's left unattended on its heel. If you're in a hurry or you don't want to use an ironing board, the vertical steam function lets you quickly remove wrinkles from hanging clothes. When it's time to fill the iron with water, the tank has a large opening for easy filling. Backed by Hamilton Beach with a 10 year limited soleplate warranty.

Great for Daily Use
I really like this iron. It heats up very quickly and removes wrinkles easily. The steam function works great, and it’s lightweight, so my hand doesn’t get tired. Perfect for daily ironing. Highly recommend!

Bigger is better for ironing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first my wife thought it was to big, especially when compared to our old iron. When she used it she noticed it had a retractable cord very convenient for both usage and storage. The temperature setting display takes all the guess work out of adjusting the temperature for different fabrics. There was absolutely no sticking with the Durathon Nonstick Soleplate, a big problem with our old iron. Overall it cut my wife's ironing time in half.

As much fan as an iron can be

The non stick works great as the iron glides over the fabric du jour. it even has a sleek design that makes it justifiable for the husband to get in on the fun! All in all it is well designed and well made.

Best affordable iron in the market

Starting from the different heat settings to spray options to the power cord management with smart safety features can beat any iron model in the market right now compared to the price and available features that comes along in this one. The product also has a self cleaning feature that makes life even easier. I would definitely recommend this to anyone without a second thought. Worth every penny!

Amazing iron with lots of wonderful features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Durathon® Digital Nonstick Iron I was very amazed by the SIZE of this Iron. And such a pretty color-nice shiny green. Right off the bat I noticed the retractable power cord, which I think is amazing. We don’t have a lot of items in our household which require ironing, but my husband has a few dress shirts. I liked the ability to see into the water reservoir easily. No more guessing when the iron is out of water or using a squirt bottle. I also appreciate the Auto Shutoff feature… no more wondering if you remembered to turn off the iron. And no more risk of fire. I used the iron to touch up one of hubby's synthetic shirts... I didn't use the water function so it wasn't perfect.

Iron with retractable cord.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this and have used it to iron shirts and hems of my jeans. I enjoyed using this iron as it glided well. It heated up quickly and went from one temp to another pretty quickly. The only thing that i didnt care for was the cord comes out on the right and im left handed. I do LOVE the retractable cord!

Strong and easy to use

Love the digital display for fabric selection. Heats very fast and has auto shut off. The iron is nonstick, with a retractable cord and steam control lever. It’s also self cleaning.

Great choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a great iron, it is a good weight. It is a little larger than my previous iron but that isn’t a big deal. It heats up quick has a good amount of steam, and the automatic cord rewind is a nice feature. I wish I came with a little container to put water in to fill the steam chamber. That’s my only complaint.

Wide opening for filling tank made for less spilled water. But my favorite thing about it is the retractable cord this is so helpful in storing the iron. I also like that you can easily see the water level.

Terrific iron

Solid but BIG
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seemingly great quality iron. The non-stick plate is very smooth on clothes and I love the digital setting options for different fabrics. The iron itself is quite large compared to what I was previously used to but it’s a quick adjustment. The cord reel is a lovely feature and consistently works well without getting jammed. Overall a great iron.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really impressed by the Hamilton Beach Durathon Digital Nonstick Iron. After pulling out the retractable cord and plugging it in you simply press the top button to select from linen, cotton,wool, silk or synthetic. There are handy steam symbols by the different fabric buttons to let you know when steam is appropriate. The water fill reservoir is easy to access right in front by lifting the tab and there is a max fill line so you don't add too much. The steam control lever lets you choose how much steam you need, and there are two buttons for you to choose a spray or a steam burst. The nonstick soleplate glides over the fabric. I love the retractable cord that stores inside the iron with a touch of a button. This is a great iron!

Smooth ironing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron works so smoothly, pressing out wrinkles from my husband's shirts. He wears button up shirts every day, and I iron regularly. Both the steam and spray are helpful with hems and plackets that don't dry flat. The controls are easy to read and reset. I always look for an auto-off function for safety, but this iron didn't turn off while I was still ironing, like my old iron would. This iron is great!

Hamilton Beach digital iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iron is lite weight, with a smooth nonstick plate. I liked how fast the iron heated up and I used it without and then with steam and the wrinkles easily disappeared. The retractable cord makes storage easy. Another plus is the automatic shutoff to prevent accidentally leaving it on! I feel that is an around good value!

Pretty and easy to use!

Like the retractable cord button and see through water reservoir. My jeans turn out really good after ironing them. So easy to use that my 11 year old daughter uses it with no problems.

Digital Iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is pretty cool as far as irons go. I love that I can use it as a steam iron or as a dry iron. The digital display is really helpful. The water reservoir is sealed tight with no unexpected leaks while using. The iron itself is a little heavy, but I think that helps with putting pressure down to get the wrinkles out of the fabric. I also really love the retractable cord!

Powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pros- the steam is beyond great.This is high tech in all areas. The settings are done by pushing the button and light up making it easy to read. The reason for only 4 stars is because it is heavy. I am 81 and good health so it being heavy is fine with me. For someone who isn’t this would be a problem.
