    It's good it just expires to fast

    I love this moisturizer I do it worked great when I got it but when it got older it started to peel a lot when I'd tried to combine it with other elf products and by itself if it had a longer shelf life it be perfect

    Why does it have fragrance?!

    Absolutely unnecessary to include fragrance. It’s extremely overpowering for one, and also just not good for you! It’s 2026 we know that this isn’t a good idea!! I didn’t even think to check ingredients because it was labeled as “clean”. It’s also a cream moisturizer anyway, not gel as advertised.

    Perfect gel texture

    I love this moisturizer! The gel-like texture feels so light on my skin, yet still hydrates. Absorbs super quickly without leaving any sticky feeling on my skin. I have sensitive skin, and it's usually hard to find products that hydrate and have a nice texture (most of the face creams I tried in the past are much heavier). I'll be buying more for sure!

    Night time only moisturizer for oily skin

    This is really great for moisturizing overnight, but I can only use it overnight because I have oily skin. When I tried to use even just a small amount of this in the morning, my skin looked a little shiny in the afternoon and my eyes were watering and burning from the moisturizer + my skin's oil getting in my eyes (even when I used a mattifying primer on top of it). So I can only use this moisturizer at night and then wash it off in the morning (and then I only use a mattifying primer in the morning). That has been the case with some other moisturizers too though, and not necessarily unique to this one. It is a great overnight moisturizer though and my face feels hydrated and soft in the morning when I wash it off, especially after using retinol at night. I like it a lot for overnight!

    I have very sensitive skin and didn't realize when I bought it that it had fregrance in it but I wish that it came in fregrance free for us sensitive skin folks would buy it again if it was fregrance free

    It peels alot but I do like the formula

    So this moisturizer is great I do like it but if I combine it with any other elf products or any other products or sometimes by itself it peels up everything I was wondering if I was doing something wrong or if it was expired but there are other reviews saying the same thing but if there's another moisturizer like this one that doesn't peel I'd love to try it

    So lightweight!

    Newly breaking into the skincare side of e.l.f. after being a huge fan for years of the cosmetics, I decided to go with the hydro-gel moisturizer. I love this product so much! It's lightweight, and doesn't give off any sort of strong smell. That was important to me with all the other various soaps, serums and lotions that I use. My face feels moisturized but not greasy. I love it!
