Stretches out eyelid-so hard to put on
When I tried to apply this it was so hard. I had to mash it onto my eyelid so hard it would stretch it out. Made the area red. Like I really wanted it to work. Lovely fine point, but it's so physically hard. It would crumble under the pressure. I tried on a different day. Same thing. Used a warm humidifier-still couldn't soften it up. It just kept crumbling and not really transfering. Eventually I used the entire stick between TWO attempts.

Not good.
Genuinely really difficult to use and it crumbles into pieces, you have to twist a thousand times to even get a bit out. When trying to use it a big chuck fell off and went into my eye and was a struggle to get out. If you apply to much pressure it will crumble but the product barley works without the pressure. Would not recommend.

Hate it
I normally buy Stila all day smudge and wet gel liner and love it…but decided to try the stila ArtiStix micro eyeliner. HUGE MISTAKE and waste of money. 1. I had to turn it 100 times for the eyeliner to actually come out, at first i thought I received a defective eyeliner 2. I literally have to apply so much pressure to put it on just for it to crumble to pieces. 3. It literally just doesnt even work. So disappointed because stila usually has good eyeliner. Very upset because I depend on my eyeliner EVERYDAY.

Would buy in the future
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed using this product. I liked that it was so thin, made it easier to apply. I'm not great at makeup but it helped with precision for sure. The color was nice and lasted.

Terrible crumbly product
I was having a hard time getting any pigment to transfer to my skin. I could see the eyeliner, definitely had enough exposed to apply, but I kept adjusting to have a bit more product come out, then the stick of product snapped off. It was crumbly when I tried to pick it up. I tried again to apply it and nothing still would stay on my skin. I painfully put enough pressure and finally got it on but never wanted to go through that again so I returned it. You can see in the pics the missing tip after it fell off.

Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased.
I usually have eyeliner for a while and this barely lasted a month. Way to experience to only last that long. It didn’t go on very smoothly either. Will not be buying again.

Won't be getting again
The product stays all day and looks great on. Thats the trick is getting it on. You can't make small lines with the stuff. It will also break off in little pieces or sometimes big in your hand or onto the floor. I wouldn't recommend this for the price its not cheap and if it keeps breaking off I see it as a waste.

Looked terrible
I wish I had read the other reviews before buying. I agree it is like trying to draw with mechanical pencil lead across your eyelid, and the result is a skipping, uneven line. I think a RoseArt crayon would have done a better job.

Tried, but would not buy again
My usual Shiseido MicroLiner Ink Eyeliner was not available at Seph0ra at the time, so I gave this one a try from Ulta. Not impressed at all. First, it took way too many turnclicks to get the eyeliner tip out for first use and at the first swipe on my eyelid, a big chunk just broke right off. Eyeliner just didn't glide as smoothly as I would have liked. Felt very dry and kept tugging on my eyelid with every stroke. Definitely will have to go back to my usual Shiseido one.

Difficult Application
SO hard to apply. It does not roll on smoothly like most other eyeliners I’ve used.

The worst eyeliner ever
Horrible. Literally like using a #2 mechanical pencil on your eyes. It hurts to put on and breaks off constantly, so you lose three quarters of the $25 you pay for it.

Best one I have owned
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that is micro and it is an easy application. Stays almost the whole day. I work 12 hours shifts and at the end of the 12 hours doesn't stay in place but it can be that a uses a glowy/greasy face cream and sunscreen. Other than that I love it to use it in a daily bases.

I like the product but packaging is not the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rod broken twice before i could make a line. It's really long lasting, no smudges and not easy to remove)) I think if you find the better way of application it will work great!

True to name but not perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this eyeliner in matte black complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster and Stila. It is a nonretractable mechanical pencil eyeliner that does indeed have a microtip. The matte black color is very dark and rich. However, I have small eyed and I would not have picked this color for myself. It looks very bold, even as a small line. It also did transfer like a light shadow to my brow bone after about 5 hours of wear—that being said, the original line didn't fade or wear off even at 8-9 hours. The tip has also broken and it tugs or skips slightly when I apply it. It doesn't glide on as smoothly as I had hoped. So it is a good option and I like the overall concept; this particular product just isn't perfect for me.

eyeliner has fallen from grace with me.
Have been using Stila for a few years. Unfortunately, due to the packaging, bought the pencil instead of the liquid eye liner pencil. The pencil took many twists to come into use, then it broke off every time I used it. It didn't glide on it was dry and crumbly. Purchased L'oreal infallible instead. Disappointing.

Good pigment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This eyeliner is one of the best ones I've found! The pigment is great, and it does not wear off at all! The only thing I wish is that it would last longer than the 2 weeks I had it for. Other than that, this is a must try!

Great liner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This not only glides on smoothly but it stays all day. It doesn't rub off when I forget I'm wearing makeup and rub my eyes and it doesn't smear throughout the day.

Really stays in place!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This automatic sharpening pencil is almost pen like. The application is really smooth and the consistency is solid. The linear is super dark black.
