Smells like chemicals

Smelled like chemicals when I turned it on and I’ve been letting it run with all the windows open for days and it still reeks. The point of the filter is to keep my home healthy but it feels like it’s doing the opposite. I emailed them and they only suggested I leave it running for longer. I wish I didn’t buy two.

Accidentally ordered the wrong filter. The return process is quite a headache. Make sure you double check which filters you're ordering. They all look the same, but not all go with every model.

Acquired a 400s from a small business that was shutting down and clearing house. It needed new filters, which came very quickly upon ordering. I am amazed at how quickly the air space in my apartment air became clean. I am grateful to have this device, especially now with the fires in Los Angeles. Though these are expensive filters, they do the job of filtering the air, very well. I have 2 cats, so it helps tremendously with cat litter odors, and dander in the air. I change these filters every 6 months.

Excellent product, cleans air and remove odors as advertised but don’t be fooled by the 1year filter duration. In my case the filter lasted about 5 months before I had to change it. Maybe you’ll get one year if you run it in the “smart” setting or at slow speed but anything faster than that and the filter’s life is reduced. Definitely I’d recommend to buy this purifier if you don’t mind changing the filter more often than what is advertised.

We purchased eight Coway AIrmega 400s for our school during the pandemic. We found them to be easy to operate, quiet and believe they help to reduce exposure, for a variety of illness. This product is so good, we have purchased three for our church. I strongly recommend them, especially during this upcoming cold and flu season.
