Everything to love about Cuisinart Food Processor

I love this food processor. The motor is quiet, the blades sharp, and I especially like that it can chop a few cloves of garlic without me having to get out my mini food processor. It's heavy but heavy enough that I can't move it to my cupboard. It's also easy to clean.

A replacement for the one I had for >15 years. It works so wonderfully and is definitely worth the price. I use it to save myself from all the chopping of veggies for soup, making baby food puree, hummus, pesto, shred a block or cheese, what else? It's a fantastic must-have for the home cook.

I purchased this Cuisinart food processor to help me with the food prep. I have physical limitations that make standing a long time painful. Therefore having the processor do the chopping, slicing and grating makes meal prep faster. Having this tool has been very helpful and fun! I have also made hummus and plan on making nut butter very soon. I will be using the processor for pesto also. Hope to find even more things I can use this processor for. It is easy to set up and use. I do not put the bowl in dishwasher because I read it can make it less clear.

After 20 marvelous years with Cuisinart's 20 cup food processor, we sought a replacement from Macys, choosing Cuisinart's Custom 14 Cup Food Processor (20 cup ones are no longer available). We did worry whether it could truly do the jobs in the amounts we customarily require. Lo and behold, the 14 Cup processor did perfectly on its maiden voyage: a complex 100 year old family recipe for a spinach fritatta from the island of Rhodes, with multiple cheeses, eggs, and spices! It was swift, easily to manipulate and pour, and easy to clean: important, because I am 88 years old. Bravo, 14 Cup wonder!

My reasons for buying a Cuisinart Food Processor include reputation, performance, power, durability - and parts availability. I expect to replace the plastic parts eventually, and want to be able to maintain the motor indefinitely. This food processor is big enough and powerful enough to handle any tasks I have for it. It came with limited accessories - which I consider a plus. I did not have to pay for and store accessories I did not need. I do wish Cuisinart still sold the set of 9 disks. Very happy with it - so far.
Compared to my Vitamix - it seems just as good.

Oh My World! This machine helped my make my first Cream Puff Pastry and the family loved it! Add the pastry warm and the rest of the ingredients and it was no issue, mixed as it needed to. Great product. The only down side is that it is very very heavy. I don't leave appliances on my counter, so taking it out and putting it away is difficult, especially with carpal tunnel and arthritis. But it's worth it!

This is my first food processor, and I am loving all the things I can use this for. I have chopped garlic to freeze for adding to dishes, prepped Mirepoix, and shredded cheese. A real timesaver in the kitchen!

I recently purchased this cuisinart food processor and I love it. I did as much research as possible before buying and all reviews had this product number 1. I considered others because of price mainly but I’m glad I bought this one. Powerful motor, does everything you want a food processor to do. Cleans up easily as most parts are dishwasher safe. I would highly recommend this food processor to anyone without hesitation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Cuisinart food processor that I used for over 30 years before the bowl started to crack in places. I would say I got more than my money's worth out of that one, so my new one will certainly outlive me!

1st Full Size Food Processor

Using my birthday money I splurged and purchased my 1st full size food processor ever. I had had a mini Cuisinart for over 20 years so I was leaning towards this brand. I chopped some veggies first - use the pulse function in increments to avoid turning them into mush. I shredded a block of cheese in seconds - fantastic. Also crushed Oreos and added cream cheese when making Oreo balls and it worked like a dream. I have both hand washed and top rack dish washed the parts and did not find it overly cumbersome to do so.
