Disappointed by this. The vehicle turns on but it looks like the wiring is not right to it. The horn stops the unit, the left/right button doenst do anything and the forward reverse only goes forward. When you let off the buttons, it goes real fast in reverse. Would be nice to get a qiring diagram so i can hook the wires properly.

We purchased this for our 4-year-old son who can figure out how to operate most things on his own, but not this toy. The remote and front loader constantly have to be switched on and off again to reconnect the remote. It frustrates him and us. Lastly, the boom (arms that move the bucket up and down) can become jammed and stop working, you have to very aggressively get them realigned. Also be aware that this toy is pretty loud and as soon as you turn it on it makes an engine running sound. It annoys everyone very quickly. My son has played with it only a few times in the many months that we have had it so we will just get rid of it. Huge waste of money.

Hi Carrzel - We are sorry to hear about your experience with the Driven RC Midrange Front End Loader. Because of feedback from customers like you, our engineers are working on a redesign that we know will increase the enjoyment of the whole Remote Control line of Driven vehicles. Keep an eye out for them later in the year! Sincerely, Team Battat

Right out of the box the toy seemed fine. But not even a minute later it couldn’t turn left or right. Everything else worked. I took it back and got another. This one seemed fine too until I got it out of the box, put batteries in the controller, and then tried to use the front loader. Nothing happened. I opened the trucks battery pack to find 4 extremely corroded batteries. So back to Target I went to try the 3rd and final one they had. Got it home, put batteries in, drove it, not 30 minutes later it completely died. Safe yourself the hassle of multiple trips to try to find one that actually works for more than 20 minutes and get a different brand. This one’s complete garbage. If I could leave a 0 star I would.

We got this for our 3 year old. We went through all 3 that our store had in stock. Every one of them stopped working in just a few minutes. After 3 exchanges, we went with a tonka remote controlled dump truck, it’s worked exactly as expected.

Hi MrsElliott - We are sorry to hear about your experience with the Driven Remote Control Midrange Front End Loader. It is very unusual to have problems with multiple units. Did you replace the batteries that came with the toys, with new brand name batteries? Your feedback has been sent to our designers and engineers for review. We hope that, in the future, you will consider choosing other Driven vehicles. There are many great quality designs to choose from. Sincerely, Team Battat

Hi Broken box! We’re sorry to hear that your Driven RC Midrange Front End Loader arrived with a box that was in less than perfect condition! Unfortunately, as the manufacturer, we have no control over the condition of our products once they leave our factories. We strongly suggest that you take keep trying to get a different unit in exchange. We really want your little one to enjoy many happy hours imagining fun adventures for as a member of the Driven Crew! Sincerely, Team Battat.

I don't know why people complained about connection with remote control, but as for any electronic items or computer, if it leave alone n not in use , the system go to sleep , that's normal, even my work place $1000 printer nad 100k instrument go to sleep too. I didn't read manual but the key button on remote is the real key, I start by press the round black button on the back to start engine, then press they key button on rc n it start connecting again. anyway this is the 8th driven brand vehicles I bought I loved the micro size, my son loved it, so detail n well built. sounds n everything a 3 year old would love to play with, he takes 1 truck to go to sleep with every night. anyway I love this bulldozer, it the first rc vehicle with 2 separate motors and has sounds like a real vehicle, it can act like a real bulldozer by just rc it.. anyway to reset bt connection just switch off n on again on both devices if u don't want to press buttons

Just purchased this toy, my son used it great for maybe 5 minutes and then it stopped working. We replaced all the batteries (it’s NOT in the “try me” mode) and in the span of 2 minutes, every different function quit one at a time. As i’m sitting here trying to ind answers on the internet before my child has a meltdown, I’m reading other reviews saying the same thing. If I received a defective item, it’s a shame that it seems to happen so frequently to so many.

Stopped working after 10 minutes of playing.
1 reply from Battat Team team - 4 months ago
Hi VH! Here are a few tips that should help to make your Driven RC Midrange Front End Loader work more consistently: 1. Please ensure to change the switch under the truck to the ON/Play mode, as well as change the batteries to all new alkaline batteries 2. Once you have changed the batteries, set the truck to “try me”, remove the batteries from the remote then place them back in. This will reset the controller. 3. You will see the lights on the remote blink. You can now set the truck back to ON. 4. You will see the remote light stay on and it should work. 5. Then please press down on the roof of the truck to establish and RC connection. We hope that your little one will have hours of fun being a member of the Driven crew! Sincerely, Team Battat

Very Disappointing. This toy stopped working after only 10 mins. Have to take batteries out and reinsert for toy to work again Only some of the time. I will be returning. Unfortunately the toy has not been a fun experience for my grandson. Lots of tears for a 4 yo who does not understand why his toy stops working.

Fun moving shovel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first saw the Driven R/C Front End Loader, I thought it would make an awesome sand toy. But the instructions say "excessive sand, dirt and/or water may cause the toy to malfunction." I'm undecided on whether or not to try it out at the beach, but so far, it seems to work better indoors. I have tried it outdoors in grass, dirt and wood chips, and it has trouble going over slightly raised areas and uneven terrain. It is doable to drive it through the yard with a bit of maneuvering, but I think it is easier and more fun to operate in the house. My 7 year old son likes to use the front loader to scoop up pom poms, Legos, markers and other small items. The remote control is intuitive and easy for him to use. He drives the truck up against a larger object or uses his fingers to push things into the shovel, since some items are tricky to scoop up on tile and wood floors. This holds his interest a bit longer than some other R/C vehicles that he has. We love the bright orange color and all the realistic details that this vehicle has. It is a bit loud, but the sounds are realistic too and I don't find them to be annoying. There is a letdown noise a while after it turns off, which my husband was very impressed with because he says that is what real trucks do. Overall, I recommend this R/C Front End Loader because it is fun and fairly easy to use. This toy would make a great addition to an R/C truck collection or as a gift for a kid who loves construction vehicles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one well built, true sounds and lights front end loader for kids. They will spend hours playing with this end loader. The remote control is easy to use. Not only fun to play with, but even little hands can maneuver the end loader with little trouble. You can’t go wrong with this Maison Battat End Loader with remote control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Midrange Front End Loader is a remote control tractor, perfect for the little boy in your life. It's quite big, and would not fit in a regular toy box, but gets a designated parking spot on your toy shelves. It looks very attractive and fun to play with. It makes realistic noises that the kids love (and adults tolerate!). It's a fun toy remote control car.
