A: Thanks for your question! Aiden uses polyphenylene oxide PPO which is 100% BPA free and doesn’t leech when boiled continuously for 12 hours. We chose this material to achieve maximum thermal stability and true-to-the-degree temperature control. In addition to being super safe to use and adding functional benefits to Aiden, this material also makes the price point significantly more accessible to home coffee drinkers around the world.

Slightly more hands off than French press
Been doing French press for all my days but was told I should graduate to this. First cup was not that great but you have to learn the machine. It is totally decent. If you made good coffee and treated your process with care before via press or pour over, this isn’t going to make better coffee. But, it’s slightly more hands off than the old way. So, that can be good if you’re busy in the morning.

Super easy to use. The guided brew is very cool. It is programmable. It takes altitude and roast into consideration when brewing. It is an automated pour over and looks cool to boot. Would recommend to others. Glad that I purchased this.

Almost Perfect
We love our coffee maker. Easy to use. Coffee tastes great. I bring the coffee pot up to the bedroom and drink coffee in bed while checking my phone, watching the news, etc. My only complaint, is that no matter how fast or slow i pour my coffee, it makes a mess. Especially, the fuller the carafe is. The design is flawed.

Stunning design and remarkable coffee
My husband and I have been on the hunt for a coffee maker for a while. I love making pour over, but it can be time consuming and a challenge to make enough coffee for everyone. The Aiden coffee maker has changed the game for us. I will keep this short and sweet: we absolutely love the coffee that it brews for us, and it’s fun and easy to use the “guided brew” feature. Looking forward to purchasing a “Fellow Drop” soon to try the pre-set configuration. It also looks absolutely stunning on our countertop. We are so happy with it!

I struggled with making a decision to buy the Aiden...and have absolutely no regrets after 1 1/2 weeks of use.
I'm primarily a pour-over person and have ONLY been using the single-serve basket. But the brews I've been making with it have been excellent. And I do a pour-over with the same beans, same grind, same water temp to compare the results with. And, each and every time, the Aiden has tasted as good or better than my handmade brew. So I'm very pleased with it. I did create a couple of brew profiles based on my pour-over process and that's what I use the most. And, again, the results have been great. I'll get some beans from the Fellow Drops in a few weeks (after I use up the four bags of specialty coffee I bought for Christmas (Merry Christmas to me!) and I'll use one of the Fellow Drops brew profiles. I will have to make myself use the batch brew basket as I just don't typically make batches. But with the holidays, I'm sure I will have to at some point because of folks visiting. I was very skeptical about buying this brewer. I toiled over the decision for probably 3 months. In hindsight, I'm glad I pulled the trigger and bought it. I'm very pleased. It doesn't hurt that it looks very nice on the counter next to my Fellow Ode Gen 2 and my Fellow Stagg EKG kettle. An impressive setup for sure.

I very much like the brew of this machine. It is not a five star produce because of its carafe. While they could easily have created an insulated carafe that does not lose heat, they have not. Coffee just does not stay warm long enough.

I would say over all the coffee maker is one of the better ones that I’ve tried, if I’m only using taste as a metric. There’s some great technological advantages for the other coffee makers. It’s not all perfect and sunshine, but that’s OK. I own multiple fellow products and this, by far has the cheapest feeling material. It does not seem on brand. It’s fairly clear to see that their app has not been developed very well. There should be a brew now function. The coffee maker filter and function all works very well. I would recommend it as a coffee maker, but not as a “fellow” product… if that makes any sense at all. The materials are just too cheap for them to feel like a fellow product. If you’re looking to get the same quality as the other items that they produce, you will not find it here. I really wish I would’ve known this before I purchased it and I would say I’m slightly unsatisfied.

Here's to really good cups of coffee for many years to come
I really, really like this coffee maker!! Truth be told I waited for Black Friday to come around hoping that Fellow would include it in this year's sale. It arrived in 4 days and I've used it every day since to make single brews and small/large batch brews; so far just with the Guided Brew feature for medium and dark roasts. Today I even cleaned the shower head just to see how that worked (easy peasy). Fellow support was responsive and helpful with questions about grind settings for my Ode Grinder with the original burrs. While I'm still dialing in the grind settings the results compared to my old coffee maker are better tasting and much more consistent. I'm excited for my first Fellow Drop to really experience the profile brew feature. The build quality is amazing and the sensing of which basket is in the pot is a nice touch. I saw comments on the length of time the coffee stays hot in the pot but I decided that didn't like burnt tasting coffee and that was another reason I purchased the Aiden.
