I had the vivoactive 6 for about month. Upgraded from a vivoactive 3. Great everyday watch and fitness tracker. I'd give it a five if it tracked elevation and stairs climbed like the va3 did. Battery life is excellent so far. I'll be charging if for only the second time since started using it tonight.

I bought the vivo6 a month ago, love some of the new features that are available. Unfortunately one of the features that I used on my previous watch doesn't work - stair tracking. I have reported the problem through the website and unfortunately have gotten no response. Of course the website didn't provide confirmation it sent, so here I sit with a broken watch and no help.

Replaced my Vivoactive 4 with a 6. First 6’s crystal developed multiple craze cracks in the crystal after 3 days and normal wear. Garmin stood behind its product and replaced it. 5 days later my new Vivoactive 6 developed a small crack at the 5 o’clock position. I was hard on my Vivoactive 4 for 4 years and never had an issue. Love the new features on the 6. Durability or quality control issues concern me. No abuse on my part. Normal wear and tear. Disappointed.

I like the V6 as a general, and not so much as a run-centered, fitness watch. This watch is a nice complement to my Apple watch. I enjoy V6's multi-day run time after charging the battery to 100%. And I use it with full-brightness and action settings. This cuts down on its full potential run-time. But I charge after my workouts while cleaning up. I have to charge my Apple watch daily, so it's not always charged to track my sleep overnight. The V6 has some functions I probably won't use since I have them on my iWatch. I enjoy my fitness and workout events going directly into the Garmin Connect app, which is my app of record. I immediately loaded a few watch faces on the V6 after I got it. I don't care for the default watch face that comes with it. I wanted ones that look like a watch. I also like specific ones to use during various activities. Afterwards, I return to a regular watch face. GPS tracking seems accurate to me. It's nice to see my workout data upload to other fitness sites, especially Chronometer, where I can see energy offsets to my daily food intake.

Got this watch to replace a Withings. Wanted a fitness lifestyle watch, not a running watch, (I'm not a runner), this watch fits the bill perfectly. Only wish the update didn't make the face dimmer that original at night. Just a skosh brighter would be appreciated.

I love this! I was a long time Fitbit user and got tired of the batteries going out and having to get a new once a year. I’ve only had it for a few weeks but I love it already! I like that there’s so much on the actual watch when with the Fitbit you had to look at the app for most things. I also don’t have to re sync it several times a day which is nice! Was a little worried it would feel to big but it’s super light! If you have a Fitbit and are debating on switching this is your sign to DO IT

This is my third Garmin Vivoactive. I believe I have been wearing them for 10-15 years; the first ones battery wouldn't last as long as I led after several years of triathlons and marathons and the second one quit tracking several things after I dropped it and cracked the crystal. The new one has many new features I like including it is quite light, tracks naps (which us old guys take from time to time), and the face is much more attractive. I don't know if there are other options for the face on this one because I like just the way it came out of the box. It works great and though I have had it for 2-3 weeks, I have only charged it once.

I have been a runner my whole life. I wore Garmin all through high school and college competing and after switched to Apple Watch for convenience of connectivity… long story short.. it didn’t last long because Garmin is supreme and an incredible product! The vivioactive is the perfect blend of stylish and all your needs as a runner!

Everything works great on this watch, with a lot of great upgrades from my old watch. The screen is big and clear and easy to read. The GPS sync is very fast! Definitely worth the purchase price. The only thing that doesn't work as well as my old one is the stair climb function. My old one was very good at sensing elevation changes, the new one doesn't measure that at all when not using the GPS.

I’ve had my watch for almost a month and while I enjoy some of the health and tracking features, garmin could do a better job on design and layout. For the cost, the watch is very limited in features. The screen itself does not extend to the edge of the watch like the images make it seem giving less space to navigate with your finger. It also gives a cheap appearance. The battery life has been great though.
