Unlike many other smartwatches that use stainless steel (which contains roughly 10% nickel), the vívoactive 6 features an anodized aluminum bezel. Aluminum is generally nickel-free and much safer for people with your allergy. The main body of the watch is made of a fiber-reinforced polymer (a high-grade plastic). This part sits against your skin and is completely non-metallic and inert. The small metal buckle on the silicone strap is typically made of stainless steel. While Garmin uses high-quality 316L stainless steel that meets international "low nickel release" standards, it still contains trace amounts of nickel.     Great look, features, and value

    I love the look and functionality of this watch. It is easy to customize and it provides a ton of data. I had the vivoactive 3 and loved that one, so when it was time to upgrade, this was an obvious choice for me. The improvements compared to the 3 are significant. The only negative has been that there was an issue with the activity tracker that started a couple of months after purchase. It would just do a constant restart any time I would try to record an activity. However, I have already received a replacement and I've experienced no issues. The process of calling to describe the issue through the shipment of the new product and return of the malfunctioned one was incredibly easy so I am not deducting any stars.

    Great watch size and good watch face

    I purchased this watch last month after my Fitbit died. I tried another Fitbit but it would not sync with my phone. I had a Garmin in the past so looked at what was available. Still trying to step up the activities but truthfully not spending a lot of time on it. As long as I can get my steps the rest will work itself out.

    Very good overall and has compatibility with many watch faces on the store. Works wonders after it is calibrated and has a good battery life span of roughly 1 week for me. Why it isn’t 5 stars? There is a reason it is one of the cheaper adult fitness watches, but it is still well worth it if you are just casually working out or want a watch to keep track of stats and what not.

    Far exceeds Fitbit Sense 2

    Very happy with it so far, i thas been about a month , had a Fitbit Sense 2 prior , vivoactive 6 is much better, had a few instances when had to reboot watch since it was not reading my heart rate, losing heart rate means not getting sleep score. tons of features compared to Fitbit just have to get used to it

    Love it

    I have only had it for 1 month but I am enjoying it so far. It is not the most intuitive gadget to use but once you figure it out its easy. I am used to apply products so there is an adjustment period. One thing that does bother me, is that my watch will randomly disconnect from my phone and the only way to fix it is to turn them both off. Other than that I love my watch and it has been very helpful in the gym and improving my sleep.

So much more in depth information, better tracking… only downside is no sound on this one but that’s my fault for not checking better. But only gives me a good reason to upgrade sooner rather than later. But absolutely love this watch. Especially battery life. OMG!

    I bought this a month ago, it's my first Garmin after many years of Fitbit use. I love it! First s**** and giggles I set up an 8-week training program right off the bat and I'm amazed at how well it's helping me increase my fitness. It's just so much more intelligent than Fitbit (now Google Health). Didn't even adjusts my future workouts if I over exerted one day for example. Love it and looking forward to using Garmin from now on.

    I honestly am not sure how I feel about this watch. For me I wished I would have got a different watch than the Vivoactive 6! I think the issue for me is I really wanted a bigger screen. I should have researched each one prior to purchasing this particular watch. I’m stuck between the forerunner and the Venu. Overall it’s a great watch.

    Just switched from my Apple watch to Garmin, vivoactive 6. Happy to report that I love the watch, particularly as i am a swimmer (4-5 times a week). The watch gives me data during my long swims (that's why I switched mostly) and the battery life is much, much better than the Apple Watch. I do not get 10 days from it, but mostly because I have haptic notification etc. from my iphone. The only negative: Garmin, please integrate data better with the Apple Health app. I installed Bevel to get some more data, but alas, HRV etc. aren't coming through.

    Fun to see running data

    Very happy with my watch, does what I want and is a lot of fun. I had some issues syncing to my phone and tech services was great, they weren't sure either but we worked through all the settings till we got it up and running. I am still learning the ins and outs, but I really like getting data like VO2 max and exercise load. Chat GPT tells me I am an "elite athlete" lol!!

    I've had my Garmin vivoactive 6 for about a month now. First, I'm amazed with the battery. It holds a charge for days on end and charges super quick. Far superior to my Samsung watch. Because I deal with chronic nerve pain, I wanted indepth tracking of my sleep. I also suffered a heart attack last month and I'm using my vivoactive 6 for my cardio rehab. I absolutely love my new watch.
