I don’t know what to say. It’s the water filter that the ice maker recommends so I bought a spare to have on hand for when I need it.

Not worth it

It did not work well it would not stay in the hole. It would not always let water go through. It seems like it was causing my icemaker to quit working right. In fact, I ended up having to clean it because it was not working well.Very dissatisfied with it went back to not having one in. A waste of money!!

We're sorry to hear about your filter causing poor water flow. If you ever notice this happen in the future, we recommend trying to fully clean your Opal and run a descale cycle, then try reinstalling the filter. If the water flow is still slow, then we recommend getting a replacement filter.

GratThis unit is our third one. We completely use distilled water. We love the ice and we use a lot of ice for two people but I guess we just keep wearing them out. Of course, when we clean there bare no hard water deposits. This last time water stopped pump sgo[[ed pumping. Maintenance is easy but is a long process.
