Q: hello, can it chops meat, like beef?
A: Thank you for your question. Yes, this food processor can process meats, however we do not recommend processing frozen meats.
submitted byHamiltonBeachTeam - 7 years agoBrand expertA: I chop ham all the time I don't see why you can't chop beef also, I would try using the pulse first, it all depends how fine you want it.
submitted bymary - 7 years agoA: This item cannot chop meat. You need a machine with a dedicated meat grinder to do this.

Q: Can this processor make pie crust?
A: Thank you for your question. To maintain peak performance, we do not recommend processing dough in our food processors. A mixer, such as the model 63326 may be better suited for this.
submitted byHamiltonBeachTeam - 7 years agoBrand expertA: its not recamened do do so, its to hard on the machine.
submitted bymary - 7 years agoA: This is very odd response from Hamilton Beach team as this includes a blade specifically for dough.

Q: The online description reads “adjustable slicing disc”. If you cannnot adjust the thickness of the slices, what does “adjustable slicing disc mean?
A: Thank you for your question. We apologize, as what you are describing is a misprint. While the slicing/shredding disc is reversible it is not adjustable. We have contacted the appropriate individuals to make a correction on this.
submitted byHamiltonBeachTeam - 6 years agoBrand expertA: The last post was from 2 years ago. And it still states in 2020 the the blade is adjustable, good job updating this

Q: There are obvious beads of moisture inside the clear plastic on the shaft. That would seem to cause rust over time or be unsanitary. Is there a way to dry it or get it out of there?
A: Thank you for your question. If you are unable to get the moisture out by leaving it out to dry, please contact our customer service team for more assistance.
submitted byHamiltonBeachTeam - 4 years agoBrand expertA: This is a great question. I’m happy the company responded. I haven’t had an issue the the beads of water as the end up drying up. However had a piece of food get stuck and over time looks like it may be becoming moldy.

Q: How do you adjust the slicing disc for thicker slices,I see nothing in the instructions?
A: If you look on the blade you will see that it will say slice or shred, what you want to do is put the blade on so the slice is facing up. it only slices one size.
submitted bymary - 7 years agoA: Thank you for your question. You are not able to adjust the thickness for this disc. One side will be label for shredding, and the other for slicing, however you cannot change the thickness.
