I buy this cobalt blue colored mascara, for the sheer effect of making my eyes look whiter. I just use some every day underneath my lashes and is close to my eye as I can. So one tube will last me a while. But it’s such a pretty blue if you were in funky mood, you could definitely do all your lashes that color.

I wanted to like it but I’m allergic. I bought the burgundy color twice now and both times my eyes burned and got infected. The first time I thought it was from something else so I gave it a second chance about six months later. Same thing happened with the new tube. Needless to say I will not be purchasing a third time.

I knew immediately the new tube i bought was a reformulated. This version was wetter, harder drying and made my lashes feel tight. It was hard to wash off. Not voluminous. Worst part my eyelids were swollen the next day. I have never reacted to this mascara in over the 20 years plus I've been using it. Loreal, please tell me why you would reformulated a good product. Leave it alone and create a anew version of the mascara instead. Now i have to hunt for a new brand. I see I'm not the only one complaining about the new formula. Loreal, you lost a loyal customer.

They've badly changed the formula on this!!!! Its made my eyelashes fall out, it goes on and stays wet, doesn't dry hard like mascara is supposed to, so when you try to build layers, it makes thick globs and then wheh you try to wash it off, it wont come off! This went from a great mascara just a month ago, to a product that Loreal really needs to look into and change. I wont be buying it anymore until I see it’s been relabeled letting us know “original fornula is back”. Just be honest about the whoops to let us original formula fans know and we’ll come back L’Oréal. Really sad since I always felt they had a softer mascara than their main competitor, with better ingredients in their formula but now its too soft and damaging to lashes

I am 64 yrs young and have been a diehard fan of this mascara since I was 19 years old. What in Gods name have you done to the formula?? 2 coats of this mascara would last all day long or all night long. Now I put a 2nd coat on and it immediately balls up on the end of my lashes when it dries. What a shame. I guess I’ll try Maybelline 😞

This used to be my holy grail mascara….i still love the look of my lashes but I can’t stand that it’s basically waterproof mascara! I actually went back to the store and bought a second one thinking I had accidentally bought waterproof -_- my make up remover doesn’t even take it off! I have to use a special makeup remover for this mascara! Something isn’t right, non waterproof mascara shouldn’t be this hard to remove!

L'Oreal Original Voluminous 15x straight brush (not curved) has been my absolute,daily, go to mascara since it first came our years ago. I loved it, UNTIL you all changed the formula over the last few months. It doesn't lengthen or volumize nearly as well as it did before. Also it is not as "washable" as it was prior to the change and burns my eyes when washing it off. The old formula never did. I truly wish companies would stop trying to "re-invent the wheel". You had an excellent product, why change it?? Please bring back the old formula!!!

The new formula with the gold rim around the top is terrible. It's making my lashes fall off when I attempt to remove it. It's not soft or washable like the old formula. It's definitely more like a waterproof product. Maybe they just put the wrong product in the bottle? Is there any way to get the old formula again? I bought two and I still have one in the package and would like to exchange both but I don't know where I would find it. It's way too waterproof now and not soft or easy to wash off, even with my oil based makeup remover or my cloth makeup remover wipes. Very unhappy. I literally just recommended your product to someone who wanted to stop getting her eyelash extensions and I had to tell her "Nevermind! it's not good anymore like it used to be!"

The original Voluminous mascara is the BEST mascara on the market! I have tried different brands at different prices, the latest and greatest. And I always come back to voluminous, it does the best at both lengthening and thickening and is easy to wash off! L’Oréal please do not ever stop making it.

The color is not noticeable at all. It comes off basically as black. Maybe if you use a white base the green will stand out. Overall not the worst mascara, but not worth purchasing a second time.

I found this mascara to be clumpy. The color is not noticeable at all. It comes off more as a brown. Maybe if you use a white base the violet will stand out. Overall not the worst mascara, but not worth purchasing a second time.

I’ve been using this product for years! While I’ve seen a lot of people saying they hate the new formula, I actually love the new change! It definitely gives me more volume and holds my curl better, but doesn’t make my lashes look super caked on and gross. It does come off more flaky like a tubing mascara when removing it but it’s not hard to get off at all with micellar water.
