Drips! Design Flaw!
I’ve had this for over a year. It’s been leaking for quite some time. Not always and sometimes just a drip here and there but more and more I come into the kitchen to find a puddle on my wood floor. Not good! A def design flaw. Y’all should fix it! Cuz the water tastes great.

Great (no) taste
I’ve been drinking Target’s Good&Gather bottled water, which is awesome: no taste and crisp. This filter results in water that is perfectly tasteless but not quite crisp. To be fair Target’s water says it uses advanced filtration and reverse osmosis, so it’s not completely comparable. I am pleased with the lack of taste and other benefits of Lifewater’s filter though. It’s nice to not feel the need to buy water. I have recommended the filter to my mom. Please consider redesigning the spout at the bottom to be straighter so water doesn’t collect.

I bought the 18 cup dispenser. I really like it. I keep mine on the counter top. I use this for my cooking and drinking water. Easy to maintain.

Wanting wait a few more
Wanting wait a few more days until I wrote this review. Followed the instructions rinsing the filter several times and still I taste something off! I’m kind of bummed, that I spent this amount of money for it not to taste fresh and without a chlorine aftertaste.

Quality difference in NYC water + No leakages
I was afraid of leaking tap based on previous reviews. Been using the filter for a month now - no such issue. The water quality has definitely changed. It tastes a lot like Fiji bottled water now - crisp yet filled with minerals. I was using Britta filter earlier and the water tasted "heavy". LifeStraw stands up to its reputation.

Peace of Mind!
We had well water that was contaminated, so we switched to city. Then we found out how many chemicals and toxins there were in the city water. Finding LifeStraw filtration was a great solution. This container easily fits in out fridge, filters rather quickly and we stopped buying water in plastic jugs! I know now that our water is truly safe to consume and cook with!

Happily Drinking our PFAS-free Water!
We are so happy to have found LifeStraw! This is the best move my household has made in a long while. PFAS has only recently come on our radar and, though it seems it is still being downplayed, I don't think it is going to hurt us to try to minimize our intake of it. AND potential bacteria and hexavalent chromium. . . the latter is actually in our local water, etc. Our water from our LifeStraw dispenser. . . honestly? It tastes like our Brita filtered water took a bath. It is crisp. It is light. And it tastes beautifully clean. We love it! And we have two recent graduates in our extended family that are off to college; we will be gifting them LifeStraw for their tiny, dorm room living! We also appreciate that it is NSF Certified and a B Corp!!

It broke already
I had this 1. 5 years before it randomly just broke. It was too much money to have it last only that amount of time. The piece broke and will not stay on now. Also, I didn’t like the functionality of the button, the kids found it hard to use. It needs more of a spigot type to pull.

amazing!!
We moved to a new town and the water here is the worst I've ever tasted. It is heavily chlorinated and tasted like pool water. I actually wasn't feeling super hot after drinking it which for me, was very strange. Anyway this big dispenser with it's little filters is amazing. Our water tastes like water! Super clean, the chlorine is completely gone. It also filters so fast, I can have a few bottles filled up pretty quickly. Highly recommend and would purchase again. Worth every penny!

Major design flaws.
The pitcher design has several bad designs: 1. The water dispenser drips, and has lots of water residue. It collect dust. And it collects hard water residue as it dries out, leaving behind yellow-ish pile. 2. The water dispenser button is nasty. Your fingertip’s contact is too close to the water exit, and bacteria on your finger will absolutely transfer to the button and spread to water. You are required to wash hands before using it, which is not convenient. 3. The top opening. It leaks water if you fill the filter a little full. 4. The material of the filter is plastic. We know that bottle water leeches micro and nano plastic. Storing water in this filter is no different from getting bottle water. It’s counter productive to filter out microplastic and then release more into it overtime. The whole thing is just sad.

No more e-coli!
My community is on a shared well and for the past few years the annual report on the health/quality of the water has been concerning to me. Among other things there are higher-than-acceptable levels of e-coli in the water. There is also something that leaves a gray sludge in my sinks and bathtubs that I can’t scrub away no matter what cleansers I use. To make a long story short- I was so happy to find that LifeStraw makes home water dispensers. I have been using mine for a couple of weeks and the water is wonderful. It has a silky feel in my mouth, no odor or flavors, and best of all no more e-coli! If LifeStraw ever makes a whole-house system, I will be first in line to buy it!

Love it!
This pitcher has replaced our water delivery services (we had home and business accts), and this 1 dispenser will save us so much $$$! The water tastes (nearly) as good as the spring water, but now I don’t have to ever worry that I’ll get an off tasting bottle again (it happens). Having 2-3 5gallon glass jugs around was frustrating, so this screws up a fair amount of space too. . I will likely pick up a smaller dispenser for my shop, but I need to bring some of the municipal water home to test it first. For now I just use a large aluminum bottle for my daily work water. Picked it up after seeing Rhett & Link review Lifestraw on Good Mythical Morning. Overall design is great.

It is nice to have
It is nice to have treated water just available. It works well, and is easy to fill. Sometimes there will be a drip or two after dispensing. The biggest challenge has been figuring out where to place it. It is convenient by the sink, but a bit large for finding a good spot. And I worry about splashing untreated water on the dispensing area. And big for in the fridge, but it may go there this summer. Now I need to locate a good filter that could be easily attached to a bathroom or kitchen sink faucet. Thoughts?

Purchase and review
This filtration system worked great until the second washing. After that it leaks at the gasket so much so that it soaks though a folded up towel, and I have to change out the towel every day. It's also important to note how many people are drinking from the system so that you don't buy one to big, as we did. For only 2 people, this size is to big. I don't like that this leaks!! That is my biggest complaint!
