Using traditional methods and innovative techniques, these knives merge the past and present into an exceptional knife collection.The potent core of SG2 micro-carbide powder steel is layered in a Tsuchime finish. This exquisite, hand-hammered effect helps prevent food from sticking. Each knife features a hand-honed blade finished with a true katana edge, a homage to the samurai swords made in Seki centuries ago.Fabricated with special Cocobolo Rosewood pakkawood, the handles mirror the beauty of the blade. Sophisticated details include brass and red spacers, a mosaic pin and a stainless steel end cap. The attractive D-shaped handle is designed to nestle comfortably in your hand for tireless cutting. Handcrafted in Seki, Japan.

    Elegant and versatile

    The Miyabi Artisan SG2 has become my everything knife set at work and at home. The knives have the perfect hardness, they're easy to sharpen and maintain their edge through every task. I love that this set has both an 8" and 6" chef knife. This set is perfect for both the personal chef and elevate home cool.

    I LOVE IT

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE this full set of knives. I have never really been the person to buy a full set of knifes and always individual pieces. I went into a zwilling near me and held the 8 inch chefs knife that's in it and I was sold. They come with a great edge and a great hand fit.

    Best knives I've ever handled

    I bought this set as a gift for my wife four years ago. They have been used regularly in our kitchen and are still incredibly sharp. The balance is absolutely perfect and the handles are comfortable to hold. We have only handwashed them and they still look as good as the day we got them. I love this knife set and would not hesitate to buy them again if I needed to.

    Makes cooking more fun

    Artisan magnetic easel knife set

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful and excellent knife set on a magnetic easel. Got this as a Xmas gift for my husband. The knives are superb quality and the easel displays them nicely. We were tired of the traditional block set look. The easel does not take up much space and looks nice on the counter top.
