Q: Does the lifetime warranty protect against rips? I've been buying a new one at least once per year due to constant rips. My mattress is 15", so I'm not stretching it too much. Would be nice to have warranty coverage against ripping.

I don’t know what these bad reviews are for. I have an autistic son who has tons of accidents and am so glad I had already purchased 2 because he’s had a complete potty training regression and wetting the bed every night. The pee / liquid does NOT penetrate. I’m going to buy even more. It is nice and stretchy and long so it does NOT slip off as others have said. These are amazing.

It is so slippery. It doesn't matter the sheet, it will slip off. You will slip around. It isn't cooling in the least but the fact that I felt like I was going to slip off the bed was the worst part of the one night I used this sheet.

Only a Mattress Topper

If all you're looking for is a water resistant mattress topper this should do fine but if you're trying to protect your mattress in the event of pests this will not help you the way similarly priced products at Target will. This is just a mattress topper, the bottom of your mattress is not covered, it's held on by elastic, there is no zipper. Other, better products will entirely cover your mattress, top to bottom, zipped closed.
