New Model Not the same as old version
I am so so disappointed. I first purchased this hairdryer at target in 2013. It has been such an awesome dryer and have used it every day for myself and my daughter until it eventually popped and stopped working after 13 years. Knowing how much we loved this hair dryer I immediately purchased the exact same one at target since I felt like it was such a great hairdryer that dried my hair so fast and smooth. Anyway I am so disappointed in the replacement 2026 version of this dryer. The model feels light, plasticky and the heating coils inside are so tiny compared to the generous spring heating coils they used to have. Quality has come down significantly and feels like such a downgrade..it just blows warm hair like a hotel wall dryer compared to the older model that felt like a true professional hair dryer. They have definitely downgraded the quality of this dryer and upped the price. No longer can recommend. I guess they don't make them how they used to!

Not for curly hair
This hairdryer is not made for curly hair. The lowest setting is too hard and fast, just making hair frizzy instead of calmly drying it. The lowest temperature setting makes a weird buzzing noise. And the attachments are made of the cheapest plastic. The diffuser attachment doesn’t do much, aiding to the frizziness of drying curly hair. Unfortunately I assumed all hair dryer were the same and threw away the packaging before using it, otherwise I’d return it immediately.

I mean...it blows.
I had to replace my professional, worked amazingly well hair dryer after almost 6 years and didn’t want to spend the money again…so let’s break it down. First-never have I had a dryer smell like burning on the first use until now, the chord is quite short so unless you sit to dry your hair or are no taller than me at 5’7 be prepared. The amount of noise this guy produces would make you think your hair was going to dry in 5 minutes or at the very least get blown right off your head but alas…he is just noisy. I have had more peaceful experiences on the tarmac. It still took about 15 minutes to dry my hair. I put on the black flat tip because I find it doesn’t allow any room for tangling my hair and it didn’t seem to have a tight seal-maybe that’s why it takes so long to dry? Overall-wish I had the money to buy what I had or similar before this one. But-it will work for now.

Quality hair dryer
This hair dryer is built to last. I've had it for moe than 6 years. The variable speeds and temperature are good and I really love the cold temp to set a style & calm my frizz. I do wish it was a bit lighter and smaller but that is due to my shoulder/ neck issues. It's a really good hair dryer with a good price point and has lasted SO long.

I have needed a new hair dryer for a long time, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I used this one that they provide at the Y and have really liked it, so I bought one. I love the power it has and the settings. It's a really good hair dryer at a reasonable price.
