Great for cuticles
I began using these sticks on my overgrown cuticles a few weeks ago. It helps me push my cuticles back gently, without creating dents on my nail the way a metal cuticle pusher does. My only criticism is that the packaging they come in rips very easily.

Splintered, poor quality wood.
Save yourself the money and purchase metal or even plastic ones. mine came with two of them splintered. the flat edges of the non-splintered ones are rough. I tried one and immediately the wood edge bent and that was me being careful because I was afraid of getting splinters in my skin, which is likely because the wood fibers are not compacted. these are way over priced for basically 12 poor quality toothpicks with a flat end. actually, I've used toothpicks with better quality wood. no surprise, I asked for a refund.

Dont buy. They fray and stab you, and bend.
I added a picture of just one of many that split or are already split before use. Unless you don’t mind scratching and stabbing under your nails you can get them. I thought this brand was trustworthy, but I got multiple in a bag that are either already splitting into tiny little razor pieces, or once I use on 3 nails it starts to split. They need to seal the tip or something to make it not FRAY!! Ouch! Very uncomfortable. It ALSO BENDS making it harder to clean effectively. The point side is fine. Don’t buy these not even worth the dollar if your actually using for nails.

Gel and Dip nails
This is a great tool! I bought this mainly for my Gel/Dip nail application to clean up around my nails. The flat side is great for getting under nails and swiping off excess product when I do my Gel/Dips nails. The pointed tip I use for cleaning up my Gel/Dip nail around my cuticles so I don’t get any product on my cuticles. Other than that I don’t use it to push my cuticles or for anything but for cleaning up my application of Gel and Dip nails that I do myself.
