Shake well before use. Hold container 4 to 6 inches from the skin to apply. Spray liberally and spread evenly by hand 15 minutes before the sun exposure. Do not spray directly into face. Spray on hands then apply to face. Do not apply in windy conditions. Use in well-ventilated area. Reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating. Immediately after towel drying. At least every 2 hours. Sun protection measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with broad spectrum SPF value of 15 higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10am - 2pm. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.Children Under 6 Months of Age

Pro- doesn't have as many terrible ingredients like polymers/acrylates (plastic). Con- it's true that the Coola brand mineral sunscreen spray goes on clear, whereas the white ghost film from Sun Bum ruins clothing you are wearing while applying and looks terrible. Not all mineral sunscreens are white, and I paid more for spray so that I didn't have to extensively rub it in (if I wanted this, I would buy the cream).

Mineral sunscreen - got to rub it in!
Not sure why all the negative reviews. It’s mineral sunscreen… so it’ll go on white. You have to rub it in and it’s very easy to do so. We’ve traveled to Hawaii several times with my toddlers and this is all I use and no one gets sun burned.

Absolutely horrible. It’s very thick and white and you look like a ghost on the beach. Even after a full day at the beach, swimming for hours and taking 2 showers at night it doesn’t come of. We had to throw it away. Waste of money!!

Does not protect from sun at all. This is the only sunscreen I used on vacation. It was reapplied as per directions and I’m completely burnt. Body parts that were exposed to the sun but not sprayed are perfectly fine. I do not recommend.

Great as a substitute for foundation!
I absolutely LOVE applying this product to my face in the summer and then applying bronzer, blush, etc over the top. (I spray onto my hands and then apply to my face, neck, ears, etc.) Yes… there is a slight white residue which is expected with a mineral sunscreen. I find that it fades after rubbing in and is completely not noticeable once bronzer and blush is applied. I’ve received so many compliments on my skin and I’m very fair and over 50. I also love the scent!

The amount of residue this product gives is pretty insane. The spray factor doesn’t really spray it on but rather feels/looks like someone just splattered it on you. Don’t buy. Better sun bum products out there. Will be returning this

I would give 0 stars if I could. Not sure what they put in this sunscreen, but it made me break out into the most horrible disgusting rash. I do not have allergies (that I know of) and do not have sensitive skin. I’ve never experienced this before. Worst sunscreen EVER.

The mineral spray does not come out as smoothly as the original - which caused our skin to burn. We switched to the lotion and that worked wonders! I love the concept behind fewer harmful chemicals but would like it to be more user friendly.
