Not the same plate
I have bought this for years but recently it has changed. It’s not sturdy and bends when food is on it. The other night I had hot pasta on it and it completely blended and fell on the floor. Very upsetting!

Ope! Sounds like a party foul on our part. Here's the truth—Chinet Classic® products are made from pre-consumer recycled material and pressed into form. We love using recycled materials, but it means we are constantly re-evaluating and optimizing the manufacturing process. Recently, all Chinet Classic® molded fiber tableware transitioned to a new Oil & Grease Resistant (OGR) barrier technology. Because of that, you didn't get our best product, and we apologize. We are working to correct the issue. In the meantime, feel free to contact a representative by email at my.chinet@huhtamaki.com or call 1-800-847-4129. Thank you!

Horrible Quality
These plates are horrible. You can tell they are made from recycled material. You can’t serve anything with sauce on them. Soaks and cuts right through the plate. I will no longer be purchasing them.

Stained plates from new package
We just bought these plates and upon opening the packaging, I saw that a plate had a weird brown stain that transferred to the plate below it. Not sure what it is but, I really don't feel comfortable using these plates

Chinet leakage
Chinet has always been my go-to for entertaining. However the Chinet dinner plates I put out this Christmas totally leaked through! And stained my table cloth! Won't be buying them anymore.

Disappointed not leak proof
I bought the classic platter plates and used for my Christmas Eve dinner. So disappointed liquid seeped thru the plate to the table cloth and table.

Disposable Plates
These plates are thicker and do not bend under heavier loads.

Quality has gone downhill
I have used Chinet products for years! Both in my camper and in my house as we do a lot of entertaining. This last package of dinner plates I bought are complete garbage!! They leak through where we have had to double up the plates (never had this issue before), they look warped, like bubbles.. just totally disappointed. I won't by Chinet again

Dinner plates.
I have been purchasing these plates for many years years now, and I have to say I an very disappointed lately. For the past year, I have noticed that they do not have the same durability they use to. They plates have marks on them, they rip/tare super easy and if there is liquid in your food, it does seem through. For the price of these products, which have go e up considerably, they should have been better quality. I have came to a hard decision, but going to start purchasing a different brand feom now on.

Hi there! We are sorry to hear that and want to point you in the right direction, while the Royal Chinet and Chinet brands do sound similar, we are different companies. Been a customer for 30 years
Over the last couple of years, your product has gotten really thin and weak. I would much rather pay the price and get a crappy product. Your plates are bought for one reason strength that no longer exist within five minutes. My food is falling through the bottom. every reason I quit using anybody else else’s paper plates get your act together straighten up your product or it’ll be your demise.

Use All the Time
Use these every weekend when my grandkids are here. Also, because they are paper, tear them up and put them in my compost.

Stained my table top. It's like wax or some kind of glue. I can't get it off the surface of my dinning table. Looks horrible.

Quality of classic 10 3/8” plates have diminished
Long-time user now disappointed in apparent diminished quality of the Classic 10 3/8” plates. Plates seem thinner, lack a surface sheen, & now collapse from minimal moisture when used to microwave individual frozen food items, & when used as a cover or under a bowl to reheat food. Also food now sticks to the eating surface of the plate. We have not changed what we microwave, or how used & the difference is the quality of the product. I can no longer recommend this product & will stop buying.
