A: The backrest on the KidFit Line of Booster Car Seats is removable. When the car seat is unoccupied, you may remove the entire seat from the vehicle. Also, when not occupied it can also be held into place with either the use of your latches or the vehicle seat belt.

A: The Model Number is a 14 digit number beginning and ending with a zero. It is located on a white product sticker that is located up underneath the seat. This information is also listed on the outside of the packaging box as well as the registration card that is included with the car seat.

A: The Latches on the KidFit booster seat are not required for use. The latches keep the car seat in the vehicle seating position when the car seat is unoccupied. We recommend buckling the vehicle seat belt over the car seat when it is unoccupied so the car seat doesn't slide around .

A: The KidFit Booster Seat is designed for children who are at least 4 years of age, between 38-57 inches tall, between 40-100 pounds in high-back mode and 40-110 pounds in backless mode, and can sit relatively still in the same seated position throughout the car ride.

Great for an 8yo
Bought for an 8 yo and fits great. Kiddo really enjoys the container for after school snacks. Drink thermos fits in free cup holder. L.A.T.C.H. system is new design for me to get used to, but like how easy it was to tighten up using one belt. Daughter states like riding on a cloud with all the padding

Hard to buckle
Seat itself is nice. My son who is 6 really struggles to buckle it. Almost sent it back as this is a set back from his harness car seat. His input is he wishes it had a tablet holder or space to hold books lol.

Not worth it
Not even 6 months and this car seat is falling apart, this. Ever happened with the Bri tax car seats and boosters I’ve purchased for my older sons. The headrest detaches constantly, the cloth never stays on, and customer service with chicco has not helped.

Great Booster Seat
Works great. My child is secure. Only works in vehicles with 2 safety anchors (1 on each side). If your vehicle has only one safety anchors in the center of the seat, I don’t think it’ll work. It specifically says NOT to be used without safety anchors, so if your vehicle isn’t equipped with anchors it shouldn’t be used.

Thanks for sharing this information and let us clarify the use of the LATCH system for a booster seat. The LATCH system on a booster is optional and it is only intended to keep the seat in place while the seat is unoccupied. Many center seating positions in a vehicle do not have a dedicated LATCH system and the vehicle owner's manual should be referenced.

Chicco booster seat
Wonderful design. Our child Loves the leg rest, snack holder, cup holder, and cool air cushion…we love the ability to easily clean it. We also love the sturdiness of it as it feels very sturdy and protective of the head and torso. Overall, this booster seat has many nice features that help make the child both comfortable and safe. Recommended Improvements: Extend the back lift one more notch to provide above a bit more growing room above the head. Our child is tall and skinny, so even though she is just now 40 pounds (required weight for this car seat) … it won’t be too long before she’s too tall for the back rest. Therefore, it would be nice if the back extended one more notch if about 3 inches.

It is a great car seat but I had to return it for a fully backless booster because it wouldn’t fit in my 2019 Chrysler Pacifica since my headrests are not removable.

Ease of use
I replaced a difficult-to-use booster seat with this one. I wanted one to move between my car and my husband’s car when our grandson is a passenger in our cars. This one is so much easier to use. All one needs to do is push the strap-adjusting button to lengthen the fasteners to the latch system in your car. Takes so much less time and effort. I highly recommend this quality booster car seat!

Besides it’s comfortability, the car seat has many great features. Our favorite one is the leg rest. At the beginning out of the box I found it unnecessary but it’s actually perfect for the kids! They love it. The storage box are a nice touch as well.

Great 2 in 1 Booster!!
According to my 6 year old son, “this is the best carseat I ever had!!!” I would totally agree. This carseat has great safety features with the LATCH system as well as easy to follow instructions for installation. It probably took me 15-20 minutes total to assemble and get into the car. I like that the material is easy to clean, it zippers on and off for quick removal. My son also thinks the color of the seat is cool, and that he has an option of 2 cupholders or a little storage console to put his little toys, legos, or whatever he has in his pocket.
