Description

Made of 100 percent pure bare copper wire, Monoprice UL-listed Cat6A CMR Riser-rated Ethernet cables are designed for use in high performance network environments. These solid and durable Cat6 cables are fully compliant with UL Code 444 and National Electrical Code TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety standards, which require pure bare copper wire in communications cables. Performance tested to speeds up to 550MHz, these cables are ideal for server applications, cloud computing, video surveillance, and online high-definition video streaming. They feature overall metal shielded, which provides good protection from EMI noise. Shipped in 500-foot reel-in-box packaging, they feature length markings, which make it easy to cut to length and to know how much cable is remaining in the box.

pleased with the price

Great sale price for this Very robust cable. It is difficult to get a standard RJ-45 connector on it though. I would definitely recommend pass through connectors.

Legit CAT6A cable

Legit CAT6A cable. Thick solid copper wires surrounded by a single foil with a drain wire. Word of advice: just be sure you actually need 6A instead of regular 6, because this is some thick cable and dealing with that, grounding scenarios, shielded connectors and jacks is a whole other ball game!

Just what I was looking for

Pretty nice cable, no problems installing. I was looking for cat6a that had the outer shield with a drain conductor between it and the plastic film, so this was it. It's flexible, but only so much; I never wired with cat6a before and saw lots of concerns about it. I used low voltage boxes that are open at the rear, so flexibility wasn't much of an issue. I would buy it again.

Glad I went with Monoprice

Used cable to connect modem in one room to pc in another room (150 feet away). Worked perfectly. Very high quality cable. FWIW, this was my first time doing this.
