Wrinkle free
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heavier than expected, this is a well functional iron. The retractable cord is great so it’s easy to store and doesn’t get in the way of ironing. Heats up within 30 seconds which is quicker than most and leaves clothes nice and and smooth with no wrinkle lines!

Great quality steam iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great quality iron that seems very well made. It heats up extremely fast and was easy to use. I was able to iron several shirts very quickly and am satisfied with the outcome. The retractable electrical cord is handy. The reservoir for the water is large and the opening is big enough that pouring water in is easy and relatively mess free. I highly recommend this steam iron.

Great Iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just like how this iron turned out. It has self clean option and a button to retract the cord automatically. I like the ease of using it and it irons the tough cotton clothes very easily. Water dispensing is easy and easy to store it back after you are done.

Water dripping issue. After few uses only heard a rattling sound inside the iron and a small broken part fell out. Could be the retractable cord mechanism that broke. Returned the item.

Just Horrible. Purchased in May of 2025 did not even last 1yr. doesnt really heat up anymore no steam comes out and if not careful will BURN your clothes. I have ruined 2 of my work uniforms with this iron. Very pricey for it to only last 9 months.

Ruins Clothes!
As others have commented, burns clothes very easily. The sole plate gets dirty very easily and when hot, burns every item. Have had shirts and pants completely ruined.

12/10/2025 purchased, followed maintenance for cleaning and descaling 12/27/25 , 1/17/2026, because we had a blinking auto on light, and yellow light stayed on an sudden snap, the sole plate NOt HOT, STEAM controls on handle did not work, and it sounded like ti was trying to heat . This unit was supposed to be replacement for previous model that was not made any more. It seems teh compnay is going down hill, in that irons might last a year, the last one the dial just fell off, CONs the water reservoir is not visible, it quit heating, smelled hot, and AI indicates the DW model have problems with thermostats , internal thermal fuse may get faulty, heavy minearal build up is not possible as I do the every 2 week maintenance, I think the thermostate is faulty. This unit has never been dropped, and no animals in house. WE like Rowenta but we we have had multipe irons for may be 20 years and they all failed. We didn't llike the handle of some and we need one that does the job, lasts, not too heavy, and easy to maintain, an the round handle on some is too uncomfortable

Good iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Rowenta Access Steam Iron for a while now, and overall my experience has been fairly positive with a few small frustrations. The water tank capacity is decent for everyday ironing and usually gets me through a regular load of clothes, though I do wish the water level were easier to see because it’s hard to tell when it’s getting low. In terms of performance, the iron heats up quickly and delivers strong, consistent heat that smooths out wrinkles efficiently, even on thicker fabrics, although I’ve noticed the steam can sometimes be uneven if the iron isn’t positioned just right. The cord is long enough to move comfortably around the ironing board without feeling restricted, which makes the process much easier and less annoying. What I like most is the steam distribution—the many holes in the soleplate spread steam evenly across the fabric, helping me get crisp results with fewer passes. Overall, it feels reliable for everyday use, even if it’s not perfect in every detail. It is lightweight for me so weight is good.

Doesn’t take the wrinkles out your clothes I would like a refund. It burns and mess up all your clothes and hard to iron slippery fabric. Just a very bad purchase!

Its an iron
Personally, I think the nay-sayers are being a little too picky.. its just an iron. They all turn off now after 20-30 minutes of none use so they dont burn your house down. It gets plenty hot for all kinds of fabrics and is gentle on my more fussy fabrics. Its dripped once the past month of using it for both sewing and ironing out my scrubs because I was pressing the burst steam faster than it probably should be. Is it worth 80$? I dont know. I never had a cheaper iron before. The brand was highly recommended and I'm happy with the purchase.

Disappointed
We used our old Rowenta iron for many years and were very happy with its performance. So when it finally broke, I didn’t hesitate to buy another Rowenta. Unfortunately, this new model has been a big disappointment. It takes a long time to iron anything other than a basic t-shirt, and overall, it just doesn’t perform anywhere near the level of our old one. Now I'm stuck with it since it’s been used. Sadly, I won’t be buying another Rowenta in the future, the quality just isn’t there anymore.
