Description

Changing the game of lawn care, one yard at a time, the GT Revolution is lawn manicuring tools in one. Converts almost instantly from a trimmer, to an in-line wheeled edger, to a mini-mower, so you get a professional-looking lawn that’s easier to maintain. This is so much more than a weed-eater, it’s a Revolution. At less than 6 lbs., and with a telescoping shaft, 7 handle, and 6 rotating head positions, almost anyone, can comfortably use the Revolution. The shaft is a full foot longer than the original GT, and the grips are ergonomically designed to give the user a firm handle on each of the three functions. And when you want to switch from trimmer to edger to mini-mower, it’s just a push of a button and a turn of the head. No tools needed. It’s powerful, too! Spinning at 7600 revs/min and running on the same 20V Powershare battery that powers our chainsaws, the GT makes nice, clean cuts. The patented Command Feed system gives you fresh line whenever you need it—no bumping or auto-feed. With an extra spool holder right on the handle, if you do run out of line in the field, you can just pop in your extra spool without a trip back to the shed.

Q: How long does it take to charge the battery, and how long does a charge last ?

  • A: Hi Gail, you must charge the battery before first use. Allow the battery to charge for 12 hours upon initial use. CHARGE TIME: First use-12 hours; thereafter, 1 to 6 hours depending on the battery). When you charge the new battery or one which has not been used for long periods of time, it may not reach full charge until after you have discharged it fully and recharged it several times. The battery will only accept 60% charge upon initial use and after prolonged storage. This means that you may experience decreased run time. However, after several charge and discharge cycles the battery will accept a 100% charge and you will notice that increased run time as a result. The battery charger supplied was designed to charge the lithium battery also supplied. DO NOT USE ANOTHER BATTERY CHARGER. Runtimes may vary however you can receive up to an hour per charge. We recommend purchasing an additional battery to assist with tackling larger tasks. We have a high capacity 20V 4.0Ah lithium battery that will increase your runtime with twice the amp hours of our standard battery. WORX also offers 60 min quick charges to get back to the job at hand faster. The line is pre-wound on spools specially designed to work on Worx the WG170.2 12" - 20V GT REVOLUTION Grass Trimmer / In-Line Edger / Mini Mower with Command Feed. You may, however, use a different brand line and reuse the spools. Be sure to use a line that is approximately 0.065” - Heaven

piece fell off, lost forever and thing is useless

Was able to use this trimmer a handful of times before the cap that keeps the string in fell off somewhere and I spent 3 days searching for it, and I'm wondering if it literally disintegrated. Now this thing is useless/just another chore for me to fix/deal with and I hate it

My first one lasted 5 years before if broke at the adjustable grip. This new one looks a little more solid. Worked well for me and the free string is great. Give me another 5.

Worx works

Worx sells the best yard tools money can buy. The Power Share 12-inch string trimmer has power to spare and is always reliable. The advancement in the string makes any job doable. I really enjoy the auto feed string. Easy to store with the adjustments to the shaft and handle. Worx is always the intelligent purchase.

Lightest weight

At 77 years old my Stihl weed eater which works great was getting too heavy. I tried theGT Revolution not expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised. At way less than half the weight of my gas model it actually works just as good and I can trim my whole yard without stopping to rest. Especially great is the string advance button. Give it a try.

Awesome trimmer

I love ALL of my WORX products. The string trimmer works very well and makes easy work of cleaning up my yard. I have been using WORX for the past 10 years and it is the best on the market. I love that the batteries are interchangeable so I always have one ready when needed. I have no interest in any other battery operated product. Can't wait to see what they come out with next.

THIRD WORX TRIMMER IN 15 YRS

This is my 3rd trimmer in 15 years. The last gf ave out after 10 yrs. 3 acre hobby farm, not some kittle lot in town. LOVE IT, well made,holds up well

The automatic line feed does not work, and I wish it had a guide for edging, so you would edge straight.
