Product was great, however packing was so poor the cans were dented. Box was too large and had no packing materials which allowed cans to roll around and become dented.

Horrible.
I never thought I'd be complaining about a Bush's beans product, yet here I am. It was absolutely AWFUL! Didn't look at all like the picture - it was dark brown. It was incredibly salty and didn't taste like any chili I've ever had. Just horrible. I wish I could get a refund for the 2 cans I bought. I had to throw the whole mess out.

Dented cans
Just a heads up. I first ordered 3 cans of Chili Magic and when the order came 1 of the cans was dented, so I put in a claim for a replacement. Since I couldn't just claim the one can, since I ordered 3, i put in the comments that 1 can was dented. My replacement came today and all three cans were dented. I won't put another claim in, but just to let you know, you might want to look into how cans are packed as the replacement box was pretty broken up, UPS and the box was not stuffed with packing material so it's ver easy to get dented.

Tasty chilli!
Super tasty as alone, or you can add all the extra stuff it reccomends. We like to add a grilled porkchop or steak imstead of ground beef. Has good flavor and it doesnt have a lot of the funky ingredients that other brands do.

Game Changer
I was raised on Chili Magic. This is an absolute game changer for me because it saves a lot of time/hassle and it’s DELICIOUS! All you need is one can of chili magic, one can of diced tomatoes, one pound of meat (or extra beans), and one cup chopped onion. It’s hard to find meals that are this easy and this delicious. I’ve been loving Chili Magic for over 20 years and I’ll probably never stop.

Chili in Summer!?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually don't make chili in the summer months because, well, it's hot. But I decided I would do just that one night, and honestly, I don't regret it. The Bush's Chili Starter was helpful because I didn't have to mess with mixes or make the seasoning myself. Because it was a "wet" and not "dry" mix, so mixing everything that much easier. This was a helpful nudge because making chili when it's hot outside is a struggle for me. I am more likely to make it if it's easier to make. I had the traditional flavor, but it was excellent, and I look forward to trying some more flavors this fall/winter.

The only downside is that it was hard to find in stores. I had to go to 4 or 5 just to find it. I wish it was more widely available, it's a great product. I mostly buy Bush's beans so I already expect top quality from them.

Decent Standalone Chili

If I was going all out to make real chili, I probably wouldn't use something like this. Pretty high in sodium, as most canned food is.

As it labeled as Texas recipe, it really has that southern flavor, It is just delicious. In my house we make it at least once a week. I definitely recommend this product if you are a chili lover.
