been using this for years but the last year or so i’ve been having a hard time sharpening my pencil. the wood never sharpens smoothly anymore-and the stick of color breaks a lot. it’s like they changed something which sucks!

I recently bought this in the shade Caffeinated. It is the perfect shade for tan skin to give my lower waterline that brighten look without being too harsh. I have been searching for this exact shade for awhile and Urban Decay seems to be the only brand that carries it. Please don't ever discontinue because this is now a staple in my makeup routine!

Impossible to sharpen - it keeps breaking. I keep my pencils in the refrigerator so they are always firm. I spend more money on new sharpeners.

I've gotten compliments wearing this eyeliner. But there is a major issue. My eyeliner sharpener from another brand does not sharpen it well. I am not sure I can use it again since there is no point on it. I don't know if this is from the heat. Maybe I need to put in the fridge or freezer. I contacted UD support to find out if they sold their own sharpener. I just got a canned response not even addressing my question. Very frustrating.

I bought this in Corrupt and love the color, but how do you actually sharpen it? There might be 1/8" max that sticks out from the top of the pencil (brand new) and it doesn't screw up to make more available. Even though I like how it applies and the color, it feels like a waste of money for what you get.

I was always disappointed with pencils in the past. I would have the color looking nice on my eyes in the morning but by noon it would fade. 😥 I thought that's it, I'm through with pencils. I tried liquid eyeliner and it was good for a while, it would stay longer but it wasn't really waterproof and would start to have issues too. I asked someone at Ulta about this one and she thought it was great since it does say 24/7 and I read some nice reviews so I got one to try. I got it in Sabbath which is a deep navy blue. The blue color makes my deep brown eyes pop. I love it. 🥰 I love using pencils again. It doesn't come off until I take it off, no more fading. I got another one the next day to stock up.

This is wonderful! It is so dark as eyeliner and I'm getting pretty old to have dark under the bottom lashes. In one picture, I used it for the eye shadow. In another one, I used it on the bottom. It smears on my bottom lashes by the end of the day, when I use it on the lower lashes. Maybe UD could make an affordable eyecream-primer -in-one. There are a few out there. No just primer. My eyecream is causing the bottom lash eyeliner to smudge or transfer.

I've tried so many different eyeliners on my waterline, but this is the only one that actually stayed. For a long time I refused to buy anything but drugstore makeup for the eyes because I wanted to save money, but overtime I wasted more money because I didn't like the formulas. I finally caved and bought Cool Coyote and it's so smooth and long lasting.

This is an okay eye liner. Really just ok. I use black eyeliner to tight line only. This liner was not very black and did not last. I have honestly used drug store ones that were better. It did not really smudge very much that is only way it earned any stars I have just tried the makeup forever Aqua resist and it is soooo much blacker and better

I’ve been a loyal Urban Decay eyeliner user for years because it used to be one of the best—smooth to apply, long-lasting, and easy to sharpen without wasting product. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a significant change over the past year or so. The formula now feels drier, doesn’t glide on as easily, and it runs out much faster than it used to. Sharpening has also become a struggle—it breaks more easily and doesn’t sharpen smoothly like before. I really hope Urban Decay takes note and brings back the quality that made this eyeliner a staple in my routine.

I really can only give this 1 star. This was intended for my upper waterline only. It seems to be a bit waterproof, but NOT smudge proof at all. I was trying to wipe this from under my eyes all day. nope
