Blue Lizard Kids Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Spray offers powerful but gentle sun protection in a convenient spray for children’s sensitive skin. This broad-spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 50 protects your child’s skin from 98% of UVB rays so they can enjoy their time in the great outdoors. Spray and rub into skin for mineral sun protection that is easy to use and dries clear, so you don’t have to worry about their SPF showing. This adventure-ready spray is customer-tested to feel great on your kids’ skin. Blue Lizard spray sunscreens are enriched with skin-nourishing ingredients, which leave skin feeling smooth and not sticky. This formula contains an especially kid-friendly blend with skin-conditioning Blue Algae. Our Kids Spray Sunscreen has 80 minutes of water resistance, so kids’ skin stays protected longer. Our formula is Zinc Oxide-based, so it provides broad-spectrum protection without chemical sunscreen active ingredients or airborne Titanium Dioxide. It’s a vegan formula, free from parabens, fragrances, and drying alcohols, making it ideal for sensitive skin. We Love the Reef: This sunscreen is made without Oxybenzone or Octinoxate to help protect fragile reef ecosystems. The propellant also has ultra-low global warming potential (GWP). Directions: Shake well before use. Adults and children over 6 months of age: Spray liberally and spread evenly by hand 15 minutes before sun exposure. Hold container 4 to 6 inches from the skin to apply. Do not spray directly onto face. Spray on hands then apply to face. Do not apply in windy conditions. Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid inhaling or exposing others to spray. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating. Reapply immediately after towel drying. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. Spray stopped working after just a couple of uses. When it did spray, the sunscreen would come out very strange, it was like air blowing out with splatters/droplets of actual sunscreen. I honestly don't think what it was spraying would've provided any sun protection. Very disappointed for the price, will not buy again.

Stopped spraying after I sprayed just my daughter’s legs. Also it came out clear and then would shoot out splotches of white. Just know you won’t burn wearing this. Also leaves a cast of white no matter the skin tone and how much you rub it in. I do like blue lizard sunblock though

This sunscreen when I first purchased it would spray the sunscreen clear! I loved that, now after tons of usage in this Texas weather it unfortunately sprays white and doesn’t blend as well. I think it might be due to the sprayer not being so great but I love the product and would buy again.

I feel like it was very affective! My kids loved that it was not freezing cold when you apply it and that it’s very smooth to go on. With 5 of us using it multiple times a day on a beach trip it did not last long and I wish it was cheaper. But otherwise I love it!

The fun blue bottle with the lizard makes it easy to spot on store shelves. We do prefer sprays over lotions for the kids, as they're just easier. I will say, my son did keep saying "ow" when we sprayed it on him (legs and arms, NOT face). But I think it was more the weird sensation caught him by surprise. We do prefer sunscreens that smell yummy, like coconut! This seemed to have very little scent, very neutral. Just like an unscented lotion or something. So that was disappointing. But we like that it is waterproof as we do need it for days at the lake while swimming. As far as being effective, we were out on a couple very sunny days and my little did not get burned at all. So it fulfilled its purpose. I really just wish it smelled like the beach!

I didn't really like using the Blue Lizard Kids SPF 50 Sunscreen for my grandson. I like that it comes in a convenient spray, but it seemed like it clogged easily and it didn't give an even film. When I would rub the sunscreen in I thought it felt sticky and my hands felt a little tacky afterwards. I won't be using this for any of my grandchildren, I'll stick to my preferred brand of sunscreen.

This sunscreen is lightweight, lasts for hours, and protects my children from harmful sun damage. It doesn’t have a scent and it’s not oily or sticky. It just absorbs right into the skin and it is bonded. 2 in 1, skin and sunscreen as one. It’s easy to use and great packaging. I would definitely recommend and buy this myself for time spent out in the sun.

It is water resistant for 80 minutes, and trusted by pediatricians. To use: -Shake well before and during use. -Apply liberally, 15 minutes before sun exposure. -Hold 4 to 6 inches away from skin when applying. -Do not spray directly onto your face - spray onto your hands and then rub your hands on your face. When to reapply: -80 minutes of swimming or sweating. -After towel drying off. -Atleast every 2 hours. This was very easy to use while we are out and about at baseball games. We apply before we leave the house. Then reapply as they practice and/or play each baseball game. I really like that it has the twist to lock cap so that it won't accidentally spray in the bag. We will be buying more.
