Wanted to try this because it’s a mineral spray but it didn’t work despite multiple applications each hour. We got so burned from it I don’t think it did anything at all. This happening in Costa Rica so maybe because the sun is stronger here? Either way had to then spend $100 on other sunscreen for the rest of the trip. I wouldn’t buy again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the best sunscreen we have tried out for our kids. It’s SPF 50 which is great for the Michigan sun during the summer. It sprays evenly and doesn’t leave a white cast. It lasts a long time and we have yet to have any sunburnt problems with it. Even my husband and I use it sometimes too, it truly is great for the whole family!

This product has a very light scent to it that is not too noticeable. This is a zinc oxide sunscreen spray so the texture of the product is very light and somewhat creamy. This product usually won’t leave any white cast on your child’s skin once it drys unless you use too much of it at once. To apply the product, you shake the bottle well first, then continue to shake the product during the application process, apply a generous amount to your child’s body 15 minutes before exposure to the sun, hold the spray 4 to 6 inches from the skin to apply it, and lastly spray the product onto your hands then apply the product to your face. I use this product to keep my children’s skin protected from the sun while they swim, cheerlead, play, and go to school. Just one full application of this sunscreen spray lasts for about 2 hours if your children are not swimming, playing in/with water, or sweating a lot from participating in any physical activities. If they are going swimming, playing in/with water, or sweating from partaking in physical activities , then after 80 minutes you should reapply the product to their skin. Also, if your child drys off with a towel they should reapply their sunscreen spray to keep their skin protected. I highly recommend this Blue Lizard Kids Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Spray to anyone with children because it truly works and it is quite easy to apply the product to their skin.
