This fan is the best for travel. I am one of those that uses the fan for noise due to tinnitus. This fan provides enough noise and fits in my suitcase easily. I bought two so I could have one for travel and one for the guest room.

Dead after 3 months and barely any use at all. Target really should take it back, or at least send me a new one. Three months?!?! That’s it?!?

I own an older version of this fan that has taken a beating and still runs. I just bought two more and the new ones are even more powerful than the old ones. I'm going to order more and replace all my bigger fans.

I had this fan on pretty much 24/7 (and I mean I literally did not turn this thing off) both my freshman and sophomore year of college and only now did it just start to sound slightly off. For $25 this is a STEAL and honestly one of the best fans ever made.

While the idea of this fan is great, the execution is very poor. The size and dual fans are nice, but the fan speeds and volume are not. As others report, the low speed is extremely low, like someone lightly blowing air on you. The high speed is just short of gale force. (Yes, that's an exaggeration, but it's WAY too much.) The high speed is also extremely noisy. If they brought the two speeds closer together and quieted the motor, it would be delightful. But without a redesign, it's a hard no from me.

Fan died after one month of use.

I bought this in July but didn't start using it for a while. When I did use it, it worked well. It was pretty powerful for the size. But now, when I turn it on it doesn't start blowing air. It just sort of makes a sound but doesn't work. A couple of times it eventually started blowing, but I'm too scared to use it. A month and a half past return window!

Only 2 speed settings, one is pretty strong, the other is really weak and both are loud. It also doesn't have a wide range of oscillation and you have to manually switch the top fan to a different direction to cool different areas.

Works great! Love both settings and love that it oscillates. It also can blow two different directions simultaneously will oscillating or not. PERFECT desk fan!

even on the lowest setting the fan makes very loud mechanical noises when moving so loud if would actually keep me awake

This fan is pretty powerful for how small it is. Narrow base, and perfect for a small space. I have it in my restroom. Love that is oscillates too!
