Great for coffee and other dry goods
I love my oxo pop canister! I’ve been using one of these 1.5 quart container containers for my bags of Starbucks coffee for years. One bag of coffee leaves about an inch or two of space at the top of this container. It makes it easy to just pour coffee into a filter, if you’re comfortable eyeballing it. Our canister has held up well for about five years now, and we wash it every so often in the dishwasher. I don’t recommend putting the lid in the dishwasher, not sure if that would be OK or not. I suspect there is a spring mechanism that could be damaged getting wet. I like the little feet on the bottom so it never sits in water if the counter has a spill. These are thoughtfully constructed canisters that last a long time.

Dont like the size combo
For the price and the brand, I was hoping for better. I upgraded my entire pantry to OXO POP this holiday season. It depends on what is in the container, but the very fine stuff, like powdered sugar, greatly affects the seal. The lids come right off many of my containers when grabbed. Hoping they are still air tight, just not tight. This is my least favorite size combo, except the smallest. The really tall container doesn’t fit in any of my cabinets as they are right now. I guess it would be good for pasta as shown, but any baking item is awkward to measure out of.

Need to find the mini scoopies
Second set of OXO pop tops. My XXL kit included scoops, these need mini scoopies. Would have gave 5***** if they inclided the scoopies. Now I have to search for them like a scavenger hunt and a sleuth. Who has time for that?! They don't hold very much. I wanted added protection agaist fruit flies for my pantry. I bought in store.

Food Goes Stale in ALL Containers
I have a lot of these OXO containers and now I wish I had never bought any. All of the food stored in these containers goes stale. I wrote to OXO and they said you need to make sure the food completely fills the containers. Really? So you can't use any of the food you store? Who keeps the container completely filled. I have cheap Rubbermaid containers that keep everything fresh for a long time. I just liked the look of these in the pantry. They won't honor the warranty because they say they are not defective. They shouldn't even be sold!

I bought a different set from Target a couple of years ago, which I LOVE. This one...isn't compatible with that one. The old lids had silicone rings and you could take them apart for cleaning. This one is sealed with flimsy rubber and you can't take it apart. I have a very bad feeling that the cheap rubber seal will break easily and make the whole thing useless. (When I say "cheap" I don't mean the price, OXO charges more for these than the old version.) I'm recommending them because they do the job, but if you find the old ones in a thrift store, get those instead.

If you don't like smudges that you can't wipe off, don't buy these
Very difficult to clean, stains easily. I stored various nuts in mine and the oils ruined the containers. I'll be replacing all of these w glass containers. Buyer beware
