Battery life
Sounds great but realistically only get about 5hrs on the battery at med volume with the lights on

Thanks for your feedback. It is possible that the battery is losing its capacity. However, it is also possible that the battery is working correctly, but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Please try this experiment: Charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. Note: Battery playtime also decreases as the battery ages. Solid unit
Bought this unit about 2 weeks ago. My PS100 finally died after 5 years, so, I "upgraded". Everything is good, but the battery life. Thats the only complaint. It calls for 12 hours play time, but, **running on factory settings, no bass boost, playing at 35-40% volume, no lights** it will dive flat to 7% and die in under 2hrs. Buy multiple battery packs to save yourself later if going mobile.

For a house that has lots of parties, has a pool, or BBQ this is a must easy to connect to, has lots of features and can be the center of everything at any point in time. The bass in bass boost is REAL! Party on Wayne party on Garth!

Partybox 120 is a disappointment
The Partybox 120 is a speaker of questionable quality. I bought it a few months ago and every time it is turned up louder, there are pops in the speakers. Sometimes the noise is very annoying. I also own a Partybox 710. That one doesn't cause any problems. It's a shame because they are quite expensive and they are supposed to be superior, but they leave something to be desired.

Thank you for your feedback. Source devices (phones, tablets, etc.) all behave a bit differently. Some have very loud outputs, and some can be quite a bit lower, even at maximum volumes. It is possible that the output level of your source device or song causes the unit to reach maximum undistorted volume before actually reaching 100% on the volume control. So, if the issue only occurs when the volume is getting near to maximum, this would confirm that the issue is the result of an extremely loud source device or song recording. Please try these following basic troubleshooting steps. 1. Try turning off the Equalizer (EQ) off. If this does not resolve the issue, proceed to the step 2. 2. Connect the speaker to your other source device, like smart-phone, tablets and iPads etc. If the issue persist, proceed to the reset procedure. 3. To reset, press and hold the play/paus and the light buttons for more than 10 seconds or until the speaker turns off. Once done, try to pair the speaker again to your device. I bought the 120 party box just to see how the JBL speakers are and its insane how loud it is and the bass is amazing, it may not be as loud at a big family event but if you are at the field or no the court training this is definitely a great investment

Perfect fort portable DJ setup
Was looking for a portable speaker for small DJ gigs and BBQ’s and this thing is perfect! Can’t believe how much sound comes out of it. Works great with the JBL party lights too. So impressed I’m probably going to pick up a second speaker!

Amazing speaker
The JBL PartyBox Club 120 is a mid sized party speaker. It has an amazing sound for the size and can balance sound great whether its pop music, heavy bass or classical and everything in between. It's a great speaker for a party as it can handle both instruments and vocals. It is easily portable with both a built in battery and power lead. It also has a swappable battery so can be swapped if not able to plug in where its being used. The speaker also has dual inputs which means both instruments and microphones can be used at the same time. It also has multipoint Bluetooth features and the ability to link with other speakers. There are a few downsides to the speaker. These include the weight. It weighs around 11kg so although it is portable it can be heavy. The battery life is also a downside. It can be used for up to 12hours if it is on low volume, no bass boost and no lights. If these features are used it can last up to 6hours. Overall this speaker is a brilliant addition to any home to just play music or to be used at events such as parties or small gatherings.

Truly special - Perfect combo
I have been using the JBL PartyBox Club 120 and PartyLight Stick for school and community events, and they’ve honestly made such a difference. The sound is powerful and crystal clear, perfect for playing music. The bass gives everything so much energy, and the kids always start dancing as soon as the music starts. The PartyLight Stick adds so much fun to the setup. The colours are bright, playful, and really help set the mood. During school events, children love the lights it gives that party feel without needing lots of decorations. Even adults get into it, which makes the whole event feel more lively and engaging. Both are super easy to set up and move around, and the battery lasts really well, so I never have to worry about charging halfway through an event. Great sound quality
This is brilliant, fantastic sound quality. The sound of the bass is good. It connects very easily to phones so easy to use and navigate options. I love the changing lights option. The only negative is the size and bulkiness of the speaker, it isn't aesthetically pleasing.

We got this a little over a month ago, we all absolutely love it!! It's very easy to connect to and use, with all the different features and light settings it's fantastic for a party or even just a gathering of friends...which we do regular. Let's talk about the volume...wow if you are having a party in a large venue this is the speaker for you, it's extremely loud but has amazing sound quality, we also connect the 🎤 for a little sing along!!
