40" Shower Tension Rod Stall Black - Room Essentials™

There’s nothing special about this tension rod. It works as expected. I do wonder about its ability to hold weight if extended out to its full length. A heavier rod might be required in that situation.

Fit our small shower but was very flimsy and continued to fall down despite a light shower curtain/liner. I returned this rod.

It broke

Used it to display Christmas garland/lights in an entryway. The dark color of the rod blended perfectly with the garland. So far it's holding up nicely…we’re going on one week now. I’m sure the rod would work just as well for its intended use, but I can't speak to that.

Very sturdy tension rod. It can be used for the heavier weight shower curtain. It can also be used with curtains.

We bought these to prop up our recording table so it doesn't move or make any sounds when my beautiful wife does her ASMR coloring videos for YouTube. They table is super sturdy and is perfect now.

The worst shower rod my hands have ever touched. Not only did it pinch me multiple times after 20 minutes of twisting, just when I thought it was tight after it seemed to lock in, it would fall. Just don’t. I’m so aggravated with it, I could use colorful language

I bought this for a small shower in our bathroom. I do think this seems a little flimsy. I thought it would be a little larger. I do like the matte black look and how it will not show rust like my current stainless steel rod. Its a good value for your money, however, its pretty basic, nothing to it.

I had the opportunity to use this in order to hang a shower curtain in a small shower stall and I liked the black look instead of the usual stainless or fake brass looking type. This was a bit more modern and it works well so far

Looking for something for our garage bathroom and this was perfect. Easily adjusted for this weird size door. Material is very strong and durable. Definitely recommend purchasing. Matte black is stylish and stays with the rest of the hardware in the house

This rod is handy for more than just showers. It is so easy to set up, just twist to loosen and twist again to tighten. I used it to block off a doorway with a fairly hefty curtain and it stayed put securely. The black color is a plus since it blends in with my decor.

This is a great sized tension rod perfect for our bedroom window. The rod is easy to expand by twisting it counter clockwise. I like the plastic bulbs that are on the end of the tension rod. They dont allow for much movement once its placed and wont affect our trim in any way

This is a very sturdy shower curtain rod. It is very easy to install and I like that it actually tightens into place to hold strong. We actually use this in the closet to help organize toys instead of as a real shower curtain holder. It is an easy way to add additional extra hanging storage. It makes it easy to adjust and flexible so things can be rearranged.

I needed a new shower rod because ours was getting rusty and bent. This one fit well in our shower and was so easy to install. It comes pushed in and short but you can adjust the length to fit most showers. The curtain slides smoothly along the rod and it looks a lot better. Nice strong design and the pole strength is great as well. I tried to bend it and it would not budge so that is good. It will last a long time. It matches my bathroom décor nicely and the curtain hangers match the color. The color is true to the website description and I would buy again.

Perfect for a small shower or stall, this tension rod is stylish and easy to adjust to fit. All you need to do is twist the rod one way to unlock, and the other way to tighten once fitted. It will fit a space 24 – 40” and is rust resistant. In addition, it is very easy to wipe clean. However, it has other uses too. I wanted this tension rod to screen off a small space in my basement, and I am able to hang a curtain from it. I intend to purchase another one for a similar small space.

This black finish tension shower curtain rod fits my shower stall perfectly. It stayed right where i put it without slipping down or falling off. I highly recommend this shower rod. The black gloss finish reallt stands out against my light colored shower curtain.

Used two of these to creat an adjustable "shoe shelf". Our shoe cabinet is not so standard sized. $14 for two rods instantly increased shoe storage capacity. Feels very sturdy and easy to use, unlike the flimsy $4 Daiso ones.
