Q: Is the handle portion of the silverware small enough to fit into a dishwasher basket designed with slots. My current silverware does not fit into the basket slots.

A: I think it will but maybe not the knife. Izon Mirror 20pc Silverware Set Stainless Steel are the thinnest ones they have I think but they are not too comfortable to use. This set is very nice.

Ruined after 1 wash - 6 months ago
Wanted to love them - but they rusted after the first wash. The stainless seemingly chipped off of the spoon and we use gentle detergents. We spent time looking between crate and barrel and target silverware. We chose to go with these for the quality. However I am very much regretting that choice. But we can’t return now because we unpacked and threw the boxes away. Save yourself the money and go a different route.

I bought these for estra use when we host large gatherings. We like them a lot. Good quality and they have help up well (I have washed many times). We like the weight of them. I highly suiggest NOT using lemon dish detergent to extend the life of all stainless.

These work great and love how they come with different size spoons and forks. The smaller sizes are perfect for kids. Super easy to clean and are very durable and very affordable as well.

The current version (bought 12/2023) are slightly different from what I bought around 2008. The new ones feel different but not bad. New ones say made on China on back of stem; weigh a little more (55g spoon); and end of stem is more angular. Old ones say stainless steel made in China on back of spoon, weigh less (spoon is 48g); and end of stem is more curved.

I bought these as single pieces when they sold them that way. I wish they still did I need more replacement spoons. I read they don't sell them individually anymore. I love these. Had them 3+ years and no rusting. I have wash them only. Bummed I may have to get whole new set.

I just bought a new pack of this flatware after using an old set for the last 3 years. The old kayden flatware was fantastic- durable, no sharp edges, felt solid in hand, no issues with rust. I didn’t even finish unpacking the new box before I realized the quality has gone way down. The forks were sharp, you could see score marks where they were cut, and they felt much lighter. The new ones are stamped “china” vs the “Vietnam” my old ones have, so I’m pretty sure it’s the new manufacturer and not just a bad/unlucky batch. I’m so disappointed. 150% price increase for worse quality? I’ll be returning.

Many of the forks have rust spots. They scratch way too easily. I completely regret purchasing these. I made sure to hand wash them to start, and I had one fork go rusty despite being as careful as possible.

We would like to explain why this sometimes occurs. Occasionally we see a bad batch sneak through our quality checking, although this is very rare, it is a possibility. Sometimes in the finishing process, minor surface defects get brushed over making it very difficult to spot when checking. These minor defects then cause trouble in the washing process. Once the surface is broken the corrosion resistance is compromised and black/brown marks or rusting can occur. If there is anything else we can do to help, please let us know info@cambridgehome.com

The handles on these are way too heavy. Any time we set them down on a plate or in a bowl they flip right off and fall on the floor. Additionally they get rust spots on them very easily - whether we wash them by hand or in the dishwasher.

I have had two sets of Kayden flatware for over 10 years, and none of the pieces have rusted at all. They have held up very well and still look very nice. They are rounded and are very easy and comfortable to hold. However, the relatively recent price increase from $20 to $50 is utterly ridiculous.

The quality is good and it's a nice sturdy set that feels good in your hand. This is a good starter set, however to me it's not worth the price any more. I bought these a few years ago, and recently went to purchase more. When I scanned the package and saw they cost $50 now, I put them back. I know stores have to accomodate for inflation, but 3 years ago, these were $20. That's a 150% increase in 3 years. For that price I can get Oneida. Despite the price I still give it 5 stars, since they are nice.

I love the weight and balance of these. They don't have the sharp edges that irritate my hands. Smooth metal and balanced perfectly. I've had this set for about a year and they hold up extremely well. Nice size variety for kids and adults.

I ran these through the dishwasher for the first time after using them and 2 forks already were showing rust! Can’t believe how much the quality of items has gone down. I wanted to upgrade my old stainless steel silverware from target that I purchased around 7 years ago and that never had rust on it!
