A: Yes. It is clear with a slight yellowish tint. There are no dyes so its just the color of the ingredients.

Q: Why is HE on the front top of the bottle but is not high efficiency? This is misleading and led me to believe the product I was purchasing is HE. I think it's a marketing scam that needs attention.

My favorite Iaundry detergent. I love how this is gentle and does not irritate my skin. Other detergents leave a residue and make my skin itch. There is not a strong scent to this detergent. Clothes come out clean. I use this on my esthetic towels and it cleanses masques and scrubs from my towels and sheets with no problem.

Formula changed without our knowledge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been breaking out in hives for months now and haven’t figured out what was the cause. Until I googled if tide has recently changed their formula. I used to break out in hives due to certain detergents when I was younger. So I switched to tide. Hadn’t had a problem until a couple months ago. It’s so bad allergy medication doesn’t even work now.. thinking about seeking a personal injury lawyer over this.

Formula change wrecked my husband's skin!
I just bought a new (largest available) bottle of free and gentle and within just a few days of using it my husband's skin is destroyed! He has eczema and we have always trusted tide free and gentle. It has never caused problems until now. After doing a little research I found out that you changed the formula and added an ingredient that is causing problems for eczema sufferers all over. Please bring the old formula back!

Id pick a diff one
It washes but I’m not sure how well. My clothes still smell after a wash. I would think it neutralizes the smell afterwards, but it’s still there. I’m looking for a detergent for sensitive skin that’ll also get rid of that lingering smell of body odor.

Gentle yet effective
This is one of the only detergents I trust for my family. I’ve used it on my clothes and my son’s clothes since he was born, and it’s always been gentle our sometimes sensitive skin while still getting everything clean. It has no harsh dyes or perfumes, and I love knowing it’s safe but effective. Definitely a staple in our home.
