1.2 Gal. Cool Mist Top Fill Humidifier & Aroma Diffuser for Medium to Large Rooms

I just bought this today and filled it and plugged it in. It won’t turn on at all. It does make a very small clicking / dripping sound but nothing else. The cord sparked when I plugged it in so I know it is converting power. Really disappointed. I’m hoping they will take it back at the store.

I purchased this humidifier April 2021. It worked fine for the first year. After that, it's been acting up consistently. It gets very noisy. Loud hum and sometimes a rattle. "Not whisper quiet" at all. I did email Crane and ask about it and they said to expect some noise from it. However then it's not "whisper quiet" whereas it started out pretty quiet. Now the past couple months it's barely throwing out any mist. It will then it won't. Mostly won't. I clean it regularly by following the instructions. Not quite two years of 'use' from it and it will be thrown away. I just purchased a different brand. Due to my experience with Crane Humidifiers, I can not recommend it.

I purchased this humidifier a week before Christmas. My Crane top fill humidifier does not get the end table wet, any of the floors or anything else near it. Everything is completely dry I run it about 20 hours a day on high. I absolutely love and recommend this humidifier.

Our furnace filter plugged up after less than 1 month of use due to I'm assuming the white dust that was created by not using distilled water. Called furnace repairman to check our furnace out. It was going into over temperature and shutting down due to plugged air filter. He asked if we had a humidifier. He has seen filters plug up before due to the white dust. Did not have this issue with a warm mist humidifier. Just a FYI to watch out for. We have inline house water filter as well. Will go back to a warm mist dehumidifier which also humidifies more quickly.

I live in an Apartment so I cannot ad a Humidifier, I have COPD and a dry Environment causes problems. I have owned Humidifiers for Years, this is the best by far. I have 2, one in the Living Room and one in the Bedroom.

The flow of humid air is intermittent and there is very little flow, so I can only assume the product I received is faulty or the product is so finicky it’s not worth it. This is a brand new product, right out of the box. Will return.

Works great! Love that it holds enough water to leave on all night. If the water runs out it automatically turns off which puts my mind at ease.

I was so excited to get to try out the Crane Cool Mist Top Fill Humidifier and Diffuser. During the winter months in the midwest we always wake up congested and often with dry noses. Adding a humidifier to our bedroom helped to alleviate these winter side effects. It was a little bigger than I had envisioned but I realized it is because it is for Medium to Large rooms when I had previously been used to smaller Crane products. The top fill feature was super easy to use. We filled it up in our attached bathroom via the bath tub and I wasn't worried about dripping water as I brought it back to my room. I adore that it has the option to be used as a diffuser. We have added our favorite holiday scents to make our home feel even cozier. My kids were fascinated by the color changing light option, which is great to act as a night light. The instructions recommend that you not use on certain surfaces so we placed it on a flat plate to protect our wood dresser. Overall the controls on the front are easy to understand and use. We'll probably move it more permanently to a larger room and will likely utilize the diffuser option a lot!

I received this product as part of the review team. I have another humidifier in the main part of my house, so I set this one up in my son’s room. With the weather change, he frequently has bloody noses and eczema outbreaks. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and can definitely notice a difference. It was really easy to set up and when in use is quiet and not noticeable. It is also very easy to refill and clean. I love that we can add essential oils as well. My son loves the changing night light colors. This is a great product for use in any room.

I received the Crane top fill humidifier and was excited to try it out. It’s lightweight, a very nice color that will blend in with any decor. It has to be filled from the top which is a plus and there is no filter so cleaning is a breeze. It also allows you to add essential oils and really help keep my room comfortable during the winter months especially when the heat is on as the air gets dry.

I love the top fill feature of this humidifier! Makes fill up a breeze. Can’t wait to try adding my favorite essential oils.

I've been using this humidifier for about a month in my bedroom and I am quite satisfied. It's very quiet, even on the high setting and I sometimes forget that it's running! My favorite part about this humidifier is it's convenience - it's so nice to be able to just pour distilled water into the top instead of maneuvering a reservoir around after filling it. The other great features that I like are the dimming lights after you turn it on/set it - and they are easy to reach over and touch if you forget to turn it on before getting in bed. The night light feature is very pretty and I like the various colors but I'll admit I haven't used it that much. I also haven't used it as an aroma diffuser at all - this is strictly a humidifier for me. The only thing I would change about it is having a 3rd option/medium setting - for when high is too much but low is too little! Other than that it has been a fabulous humidifier and I'm happy to have something so convenient to use as part of my self care.

We’ve had several Drop style humidifiers but are really liking the top fill feature on this. It’s also very easy to clean. Same great Crane quality we are used to!

This humidifier works great for our needs! We have allergies and asthma in our house. Plus, we live in the super dry Southern California Desert. Using the humidifier helps to improve our breathing so much. It's easy to use too since you don't have to flip the unit around or anything like traditional humidifiers. The top fill also makes it way easier to clean because it has a wide opening. This is easily the prettiest humidifier we've ever had. It doesn't look like an eyesore in our house at all. It has multiple settings where you can have some fun LED lights on the top change, stay steady, or have off completely. It also has a couple different levels of humidifying. We've found we have to use distilled water to not have any issues with white dusting. That and the fact that the sensor lights don't fully turn off (only dim) are my only complaints. If you're willing to use demineralized water and don't mind small, dim LED indicator lights, then I'd recommend this. It's easy to use and clean, so those are major bonuses in my book.

Thank you Crane for this free product! The following review contains my honest opinions. I have used a variety of the Crane humidifiers: the traditional drop humidifiers, the newer smaller drop humidifiers with a diffuser slot, the travel humidifier, and now this top fill with diffuser properties. This latest model is by far the easiest to use! I love how easy it is to fill : lift the top and pour in the water. I love how easy it is to clean: the top three pieces are dishwasher-safe and the inside chamber is completely accessible to be wiped down! There are a few features that I don’t utilize often, however I thoroughly see the value in: you are able to add a few drops of aromatherapy oils to the chamber therefore eliminating the need to use two separate machines; this humidifier comes with a very impressive nightlight feature which would work great for a nursery setting. Now there are two points on which I feel slight concern: 1) the nightlight feature cycles through a variety of colors and I personally would prefer to be able to have more control over the color options 2) on the traditional drop humidifiers, there is an adjustable knob for the mist speed, on the smaller drop humidifiers there are setting buttons to control the mist speed, but on this humidifier there is no control over mist speed. Overall I feel this is the easiest humidifier to use and to clean!

I never felt the need for a humidifier until late November - early December. Working from home has left an impactful change on all of us, especially the "stale" and dry air quality from our heating systems. I've letting the humidifier run its course a few hours before bed & I even add some lavender essential oils for aromatherapy! It's been such a pleasure waking up in the morning without chest congestion and the uncomfortable feeling of dryness. I'd also like to add that the lights are a great touch!

Everything about this is great, it has a large tank capacity and it lasts a long time. Between 8-10 for sure. Sometimes I feel like it runs longer. My kids are in love with lighting effects, especially when it changes colors. There’s two different mist settings, on days when we have our electric heat on I put it on the highest mist and it’s incredible the difference I feel. My kids always have dry noses from the heat in the winter and the humidifier is perfect to combat that. I have it in my fairly large living room and it does a great job of working through out! My mother in law has been wanting one because she loves it too!!

I have a regular humidifier but this one puts that one to shame! I honestly am so glad I have this one! It is cold season and my household got sick. I used this along with essential oils: eucalyptus, lavender, peppermint, and orange mix, and it was so good to breathe in! It hold a lot of water so you do not have to worry about refilling for a while. The lights at the top helped use as a nightlight for my little one and she loved the color changes. I think if I could tell anyone to get a humidifier it would be this one!
