I have been using this brand for yours! Target did their switch a roo and they are not the same. Not the same ingredients, nor the same shape an size. Equally important, they make me sleepy and now I have to be on the hunt for ones that I can take. I need Lysine. THIS IS THE WORST!! Ps. They also changed Zinc so I'm guessing they changed distributors, probably because they were getting out of the US... ughhh I am so mad!

I am with everyone else who has said that these are incredibly hard to swallow. I never have an issue swallowing pills, but these are very thick, dry, and rough around the edges, scratching my throat every single time I take them. They definitely need a shape redesign. As far as effectiveness, they are great for cold sore outbreaks, but I won’t go out of my way to take them when I don’t have an outbreak. They are torturous.

Terrible awful HUGE & crumbly pill! Almost impossible to swallow & they crumble at the touch if stored in a weekly pill container. They get stuck in my throat & crumble instantly, making them a huge choking hazard!

I’ve gotten cold sores my entire adult life, especially when under a lot of stress. I started taking two a day and it has drastically helped. Now pretty much the only time I get a cold sore is when I don’t take them for a dose or two.

These are so hard to swallow, and they are crumbly and rough. I thought they may be chewable they were so impossible to take as a whole, I had to buy a pill cutter. Please reshape the pills and compress more for a smooth and comfortable swallow.

The price is nice, but the pills are huge and they have sharp edges, making them hard to swallow. Only took one of these pills, and it was hard to swallow. Decided to buy a 500mg bottle of them somewhere else; the new pills I got are smoother and much easier to swallow, I just take 2 instead of 1 since they are 500mg.

Wish I'd checked the reviews first. I take 6 supplements and this is the only one that gets stuck in my throat. It is incredibly difficult to swallow, will get stuck on the tongue if I'm not fast with a huge swig of water, and will still scratch its way down my throat unless I keep chugging water. Sometimes I think I should just chuck the bottle because it's a choke hazard at this point. I can swallow my other supplements 3 at a time with a single gulp of water.

Just started these today and wish I wouldn’t looked at the reviews first for this target brand. I had a very hard time swallowing and it still feels lodged in my throat after 20 mins and 2 bottles of water. Will be returning tomorrow.
