Glad for this one.
Nice to have an update to the ol' classic Genus Edition, having never been a fan of the myriad other versions over the years. I'm shocked by the number of reviews that lament long play time. So, I guess I'll state the obvious here: you can amend your game play by simply awarding a pie piece for every first correct answer per category, not only on the wedge spaces. If you're playing with real trivia masters, the original game rules are necessary or you'd be done in a turn or two, but if you need a quicker version for your average group, you can easily modify game play for speed. Anyway, wish they hadn't eliminated the card boxes, but these days costs get cut somewhere. Not a biggie.

Its a fun game but the box had a big sticker on it, and even being careful it ripped the box and left residue, and the sticker that I had set on my table also messed up my table!

was trivial pursuit always this trivial? if you like to fully finish your games with a winner you will never be able to leave - did I just not know this is the trivia form of Monopoly. We played for 7 hours until we had a winner. 7 hours. Uninterrupted 7 hours. Especially at just a stalemate of not landing on the wedge tiles, constantly getting questions right but not for a wedge so the game never moves along. For 7 hours.

No boxes for cards!
The older versions had little boxes for the cards. This version doesn’t. Which means if you store the game on its side the cards go EVERYWHERE. Also I used to take a box of cards with me on a road trip but can’t do that with this one. Booo!

We are a family that enjoys Trivial Pursuit and have many versions. This one hits the sweet spot of challenging and answerable questions. Played it with our 15 year old but too challenging for our 12 year old. Our 12 year old does better with the family version.
