    Harder to use than others

    okay, it works. We got the childproofing off, no problem. But it slides around because the feet are not rubber, but slippery plastic. How stupid! It is not intuitive. To heat something for less than 30 seconds, for example 19 seconds for my heated eye mask, you have to press cook, then 0019 then start. 6 buttons! With all our previous microwaves I just pressed 19 start. 3 buttons total. There is a problem with the glass disc that is very frustrating. It has to be placed back in the right spot all the time. Comes off the track. Does not spin manually like other microwaves.

    Happy with the microwave

    Bought the microwave a few weeks ago and it works great so far. No problems. Easy to operate. Does a great job doing it’s primary function which is to heat up food quickly. I’ve also used defrost and it works fine. Has a grey interior which is fine. Has a turntable and light inside. I’m happy with it.

    I needed a new microwave to replace my older magic chef one and this one caught my eye, as I wanted a bigger one and another magic chef so that I could fit larger containers inside, such as a steamer for my veggies I have and it works perfectly. Love the dimensions inside. Yes, this one is much bigger and does take up some counter space, as I have a small kitchen, but where I have it sitting works out. Easy to use too and has a nice manual until you get used to how to use the functions. I am not disappointed. I love magic chef microwaves!

    heats up good

    A little smaller than I thought, but really warms up fast. It locks up after it's done heating and took me a few seconds to figure out the unlock button. For the price I paid it works for us.

    Compact on the outside big on the inside

    Fits well into the shelf that built into our cupboard. Its outside dimensions are a little smaller than our previous one but the capcity is bigger.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Magic Chef MCM1611W microwave complimentary from Magic Chef and Influenster, and I am very grateful for this opportunity. Pros: This microwave has 1100 watts of power, which makes heating and cooking food fast and easy. It saves me a lot of time, especially with three children to take care of. The 1.6 cubic feet size is very spacious. I can fit large dishes and bowls without any problem, which is perfect for my family meals. The digital controls are simple to understand and use. The white color looks clean and modern in my kitchen. It matches well with other appliances. Cons: while the spacious interior is great, the microwave is also large on the outside. If you have a small kitchen, it might take up a lot of counter space. The microwave is a bit noisy when running. It’s not too loud, but it’s noticeable. It is a bit heavy to move, so you might need help to place it on the counter. Overall, I am very happy with the Magic Chef MCM1611W microwave. It has been a great addition to my kitchen, and I appreciate the quality and performance. Thank you, Magic Chef and Influenster, for this wonderful product!

    Perfect Size!

    1,000watts & compact, perfect for my small house. I returned 2 other brands because they were so loud & clunky. This 1 is not. Love the charcoal interior, reheating coffee alot stains up white interiors. Magic Chef was smart enough to put rubber on the front legs so it won't slide. I all ready had mine cut! Hopefully it will last as long as my 20+yr old Kenmore. I did get on sale for $135.
