A: Even Maybelline, there is no color that matches the red matte lippie on their advertisement. I have bought the different red shades and none are a match. I know the color may look different depending on your skin color, but still no luck.

Not sure what they changed in the formula that is in the new tube but it doesnt stay on like the old one with the slick package The new look one seems to come off easier and stays tacky doesnt dry all the way like the old one pretty sad because this was my absolute favorite

Under normal circumstances this product gets 5+ stars. Maybelline why did you have to go and change the formula and applicator?!? I have been using this product for years and in almost every shade. I easily have 20-30 different shades that I switch out to match outfits, moods, my travels and situations. It was a perfect product... was being the operative word. I have tried sooo many others (Lady Gaga, Kat Von D, Lancôme, YSL, Stila, NYX) and nothing compares to the original matte formula. My signature shade is Dreamer and I'm truly saddened by this. I never leave the house without my lipstick on, it's part of my identity! I loved this product! Now... it's sticky, clumpy, bleeds, and lines show through. The applicator is too flexible and difficult to get that precision for the perfect lip. Forget about trying a little refresh at the end of the day to go to dinner... it then gets soooo incredibly sticky and clumpy and then gets all over your teeth. It's an awful feeling.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST transfer resistant lipstick around!! This is the ONLY lipstick I have EVER purchased or worn that actually is truly transfer resist. I feel confident ALL day long that my lips look amazing when I wear this stuff! The colors are vibrant. It doesn't dry my lips out like most matte lipsticks. My favorite color is 112 Composer! I always keep at least 5 containers of it because I am so afraid they will discontinue it. That shade was made for me! Everytime I find a great color, it gets discontinued. THhis is the only lipstick I wear. If you are looking something that actually stays put, doesnt dry your lips out, and has vibrant colors.....this is it!!!
