Did not work
The eyeliner I received is malfunctioning, it has no "liner pencil" & and when I turned it a spring shot old. The pencil was expensive and is broken.

Tip breaks off almost every time
Almost every time I took the cap off, the tip was broken. I went through it so quickly because it kept breaking. It costs too much to lose that much product every time.

Breaks Off Offen
When it works, it glides smoothly. The applicator has a major flaw though because the tip breaks easily. Sometimes you have to clean the sharpening head with a Q-tip to empty out the contents so that it can sharpen again. Truthfully, I would prefer to just sharpen it myself.

Disappointed
I have used this product for years. Unfortunately, the last 2 I bought the point has broken off every time I use it. I am throwing more of it away then I am using. I am looking for other options. So sad.

This eye liner goes on very smooth and easily and does not smear. I love it. Not sure how long this will last as it is my first one I bought.

Hands down the best eyeliner ever BUT the last 5 I have purchased, online AND in store have broken after 3 days of use. I have been using this product for a few years and am devastated to have to search for a new one. I even called the brands customer service to complain… not much help there. Ulta on the other hand was amazing and always returned or exchanged easily.

USED to love this liner!
This was my go-to, always stocked up on sales eyeliner until recently. The last handful I ordered from Ulta and/or Smashbox have all broken within the first 2 weeks of using them. They used to last around 4-5, even 6 weeks. Any I've bought since Summer of 2024 have all broken and were no longer useable. Because I stock up, I am always past the point of return, which has never been a problem prior. I'm so sad because this was my favorite eyeliner for YEARS and for the price they should not last only 1-2 weeks! Now I'm on the search for a new liner!

Always Sharp Eyeliner
I will not purchase again. It glides on nicely but also smudges over time nicely. The tip broke off in the cap after 5 uses. Poor quality for an expensive product.

My one and only liner for 5+ years
Just saw that this liner has bad reviews. I have literally no idea why, it is simoly amazing, very wasy to use amd yes, it stays. You just need to give it a minute or so to dry after you apply it, amd use the base (I love the urban beauty one). It is also VERY easy to apply. I always wear an eyeliner and it is proven with 1000 plus applications. Just gove it a try. I tried multiple, including more expensive ones like Tom Ford and always get to this one.

The eyeliner pencil broke within a few days after using it!
The Smashbox always sharp eyeliner pencil in French Navy is my favorite and only eyeliner. However, there is an occasional problem when they tip breaks off when trying to sharpen it. This happened almost immediately. I went back to Ulta to return and replace the eyeliner pencil and the closest store to my house no longer carries Smashbox. Very frustrating and disappointing! I looked at other brands but they couldn't compare.

I would not buy this again
The product itself is ok, but here is very little product in this stick. Every time you put the lid on, it automatically sharpens the tip using even more product.

Good eyeliner
This is my go to eyeliner but two times now there was no gel pencil in the tube. It is frustrating but have had no problem returning to Ulta. Someone needs to do better quality control of the product.
