Q: How do you get it to vacuum only? Mopping is nice but not every time. There is no option for me to do one or the other, the water resevoir is empty but vac won't even entertain working while empty.

A: I am trying to figure out the same thing- the AV2610WA (Amazon verson) vs RV2610WA (retail version) seems to have a difference in the dustbin and there is no support or for the Amazon version.

A: Nevermind. The user manual said the mop\vacuum bin will not self empty but in fact it does. Manual has incorrect info.

A: Yes, it goes back to its station to charge when battery is low and then continues where it left of when charged.

A: Jackie, it's not necessary to map all the rooms if you prefer it that way. To manually start a cleaning cycle, press the CLEAN button on the robot or on the mobile app. To immediately send the robot back to the base, press the DOCK button. On the other hand, the expected runtime is 60 minutes.

Less a review about the item and more about ordering online from Target. We've had things shipped to us before without issue, but unfortunately had this item stolen off of our porch within minutes of it being delivered. If you're going to order anything of value off Target's website make sure you have the whole day to stare out your window on the delivery date or delivered to a secure location. They dropped off the package in its original packaging and were unable to help us with any sort of reorder discount or recourse.

I purchased this a month ago with the intention of using it for both vacuuming and mopping. However, I am disappointed because the vacuum does not reach under my furniture, and the mopping feature is not very effective. This is my second Shark robot vacuum; my first one was able to clean under every piece of furniture in my home and worked wonderfully. Despite these issues, I would still recommend it.

This requires attention almost daily to fix the mop pads, replace or clean the mop pads, and add more water. I’ve had this a month and there are already times where it does not work. Very disappointing.

Loved the vacuum at first as we have 2 dogs and 3 kids and was convenient to just push a button and have it mop the floors. However, after a couple weeks, it stopped working. It didn't follow the map at all and for some reason I lost the mop feature. I reset it to factory settings and re-explored to generate a new map, marked "no go" and carpet spots and it still didn't follow the map and it now makes a loud grinding noise when it's on. I cleaned out everything and nothings stuck in it... not very good quality and disappointed. Couldn't even find this model # manual on sharks website.

I loved my Matrix Robot vac and mop. Until a couple days ago. It forgot the no go zones and ran right over a puppy pad that was soiled! Literally it ate the poop. The vac is 2 years old and has a 3 year VIP warranty that I’ll not even try to get Shark to honor in spite of the vac forgetting the map. My robot destroyed itself. By itself. I had no idea that it would forget its map. It was running a scheduled run and I came home to a bigger mess than what I had when it started! I’m really not really happy with this. I loved my Shark but I’m now searching for another robot vac. I may buy another Shark but I may not. The vacuum power is low compared to other brands.

Love the vacuum when it works. But it works maybe 5% of the time it runs. I have had now 4 robots and still having the same issue. Calling in to talk for a hour for them to to tell me to delete my map re map or spin the side brush 10 times. thats not a fix for anything. But now i will be calling back once again cause i was just sent a brand new unit and it has not lasted 1 week before it started having issues. When the vacuum can not vacuum your house its junk. And the newest one i got sounds like it trying to come apart. Wish i had went with another company.

I loved my Shark Matrix Plus until the liquid quit dispersing to the mop pad. After phone calls to Shark and troubleshooting, I found out I would need to replace the entire water tank for an additional $60. It seems unfortunate, considering the amount paid in the first place.

This is a replacement from sShark, and is much different than the one I had. Very loud, and does not vacuum as well as my previous robot. Also very hard to add rug area sizes . Previous robot allowed you to put size in. This one , it just adds a large block, and it's difficult to guesstimate. Not sure I will get another one for this price.

I’ve spent more time “fixing” the vacuum than it has saved me cleaning the floor myself. I’ve given up on even using the app. I just go to the vacuum myself to press “clean”. More often than not, I have to “clear the dust roll”. And by that, I think I have to do it at least once every single day. I might as well sweep before it works. Which I use to sweep and let the mop do its job. But then I’d have to clean the water canister and change the mop pad every single time. My place isn’t that big, so I ended up doing basically the same amount of work. Lately, it’s been struggling to even dock. I’m constantly hand connecting it, which takes longer to find the perfect alignment than one might think. This machine has given me so much grief. I regret the purchase so badly. I wish I just shelled out for something that worked better. And at $400, that isn’t a cheap purchase by any means .

I’ve had three shark robot vacuums and it seems the fancy more expensive they get the worst they get. This vacuum always leaves big areas untouched, can’t figure out how to re dock and has a mind of its own when it comes to mopping. The only way I know to how to guarantee it’s gonna mop as if I do the spot cleaning. The only reason I’m giving this two stars is because when It does clean it works well. I feel like it should either vacuum recharge then mop immediately or have two buttons/selector’s on vacuum/ app to allow you to choose to mop the entire floor

We bought this mop/vacuum combo on 7/15. By 7/17 the plastic clip that you squeeze to attach the mop head had broken. We thought this was a fluke, returned it and bought another on the same day. On 7/18, we noticed a puddle under the mop/vac while on its bases. We brought it to the sink and flipped it over, when we removed the mop head to assess the fluid tank a bunch of black plastic pieces fell out. We couldn’t believe it. To top it off, when we tried to reattach the mop head to pack it up for return, THE SAME CLIP BROKE, just like the first vacuum. Save yourself the hassle and buy something else. We went with the roborock combo.
