Attractive But Not Functional

I suppose it is my own fault for purchasing this after reading some of the negative reviews, but now I can only say: Take those reviews seriously. As noted in other reviews, this ladder does NOT have predrilled holes for some of the screws AND it does NOT include all the screws. My husband had a small drill and extra screws, so we were able to get this device together, but then the bottom portion of the ladder folds in so that the top step will scrape against the floor. There is nothing to keep it from hitting the floor or wall as you fold it in. The directions are not helpful and the pictures are vague. The worst part of it is that once constructed, the steps are small and the ladder tends to be top heavy because of the design - very wobbly. So we agreed it was not a practical ladder. But it IS atractive and since I had already thrown away the box, we decided to keep it and put plants on it. If you are buying this as a ladder, you will probably be disappointed.
