HORRIBLE DOESNT WORKN
Horrible, never worked. Bought brand new and it doesn’t work at all. Not manually by it self and won’t even pair with the phone. The two red buttons and 1 blue button just keep flashing. Do not purchase!

Short lived for the price
Worked fine at first but less than a year and a half later is done. Well maintained and cleaned regularly. Giving a bumper error 6 and wont go. Went thru ALL possible trouble shooting with no solution. Called shark was told there are not fixes for this and was offered a replacement pod for nearly the cost of a whole new system. Umm no thanks! i am beyond disappointed with the shark matrix

Would not recommend. From mapping out rugs/carpet cause it can't detect it was a pain. But I can live with that. However it vacuum or mop my house in one change so takes an entire day. And no I don't have a giant house. It gets stuck all the time. So can't run it when you aren't home. Do not buy. I wish I didn't

Wonderful product for a husky household
Love it!! I am a former Irobot owner. I had a top of the line vacuum. It was buggy and seemed to get lost a lot. It was loud and took forever to clean a room. Rather than spend a fortune on another Roomba, I went with a Shark. I own 5 other SharkNinja products. Not one of them has let me down. This vacuum is quiet, fast and keeps my floors clean. I wasn't crazy about the roller brush, it seemed a bit weak for dog hair (I own two huskies). But I just ordered a new, stronger roller brush. I'm hoping it will get some more hair. But my Matrix does a pretty good job getting it most of it up. My only complaint is my inability to schedule normal cleaning schedules and having to empty the bin. I really liked the bag in the Roomba. There wasn't any chance of dirt spilling when filling it. So, aside to the two cons mentioned above, I am really happy with the vacuum. Let's see if it lasts longer than the Roomba.

Crap
This thing stops working in less than a year. the portal says there is warranty and the support offers 30% for a new model, totally unacceptable. Never buying again.

Piece of crap
This thing has more problems its a waste of money. I get alerts on the app saying its brush roller is stuck, the side roller is stuck, something is jammed so i have to hunt this thing down to check. NOTHING is jammed, just a few pieces of hair is in the brush roller. It cant ever empty the dust bin it is always trapping something in it. When i check the dust bin its EMPTY!! why is it saying it cant empty the dust bin if its already empty? i get a workout walking my house just to find where it stopped at for a boggus alert.

Not like my old Shark!
I bought this to replace the old Shark robot that I LOVED. This one is terrible. It misses corners and often stops short of the walls even after re-mapping multiple times. 😩

Too many error codes so it doesn't run overnight.
I love the vacuum when it works but it's always giving us errors. The lidar is always dirty. It's given me so many error messages it now says to take it in for service. There's no service areas near us. I originally ordered the mop and vacuum system but the fluid containers were too small for decent cleaning so we purchased this one because it was only a vacuum. We purchased it in 2024 and it doesn't work now.

Horrible reliability
If you want a vacuum that might last a year before it dies this is the brand for you. On my 3rd Shark 1st one lasted about a year 2nd less then, got it replaced at NC now 8 months later dead again, now out of the original warranty, never buy another Shark

Nice LIDAR capabilities, but lost suction power
We've owned the Matrix for about 3 years. It worked great for the first couple, and it still does a nice job of covering all the computerized map regions of the house. But it seems to have lost suction, and no longer even picks up all the obvious dust, dirt, and debris off the wood floor or carpet. We've cleaned everything we can on the machine but it hasn't helped. To really clean we have to use the full size Shark vacuum.

I can’t recommend this vacuum at all. Had it for a year and a half and it’s already needing to be replaced. The vacuum itself works for the most part but the software and the app are a HUGE disappointment. Not impressed.

Overall a great unit
I was very apprehensive about going to another Shark given the problems I had with my old one. But I am happy to report that this unit goes where the other unit would easily get hung up. If I had any complaint at all, it would be the house mapping. The map it shows is nothing like our house. Similar in ways, but it makes it very difficult to name rooms as they don’t have shapes of our actual house.

Not a fan of the Matrix
My original Shark robot vac was much more efficient with regard to cleaning. The matrix gets caught in the refrigerator, on a rug, etc. I am all about NEW technology, but the OG did a much better job. I want to throw this in the dumpster. I am a long time Shark customer, but this has me thinking about going elsewhere .
