Works fine & easy to use but ...
The main issue I have with it is the lettering is so small & faint. Even w/the kitchen light on it's difficult to read the controls. My older one, also black but another brand, has larger and bold lettering. There isn't space to make the lettering larger Okay. BUT I don't see WHY it isn't bolder. I wanted it w/a white interior like my old one, but the bulb/lighting inside is pretty faint on this one. I only use it to reheat my food, sometimes cook an egg for an egg sandwich & occasionally defrost something. I haven't cooked anything else w/it nor used the other features. Otherwise, it serves its purpose & reheats very well. It came w/one of the "footings" at the corner too far in. So it was unstable, especially when opening the door. I put a small piece of cardboard at that corner to stabilize it. I wasn't about to return it & wait for another one just because of this.

Little Powerhouse
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a GE dinosaur. It's capacity is only .01 Cubic Foot smaller but the outside footprint gives me 1/3 more space. It works great and is much quieter.

Started food on fire after 8 months of use
super disappointed that this stopped being usable after 8 months of use. food literally starts on fire after 10 seconds of use. microwave has been cleaned and troubleshoot. I am going to attempt to use the limited warranty, but I have doubts of my success since this is sold thru a third party.

Good microwave
I ordered this microwave after redoing my kitchen. We had a larger, GE microwave that also served as the oven hood. With that gone, we needed a countertop unit, not too large but still powerful enough to heat food properly. This one serves its purpose. Despite its small footprint, it is efficient. I like its appearance and the door handle, the interior light, the ease of controls. Its only downside is that it is noisier than I expected. The door could be designed for less of a thud and the unit's operation generally is noisy. Still, given the price and the stated efficiency, I would buy it again and recommend it.

Great microwave for dorm!
Very Simple to use Heats up great. This microwave is a great value for the price. Easy operation. Cooks great. I previously had a higher wattage microwave and was skeptical about going to a lower wattage. But, my cooking needs changed, so I thought I would give it a try. And, behold it cooks just as good. I love it.

For the price, this tiny microwave is quite great. Small is the key word. Although it is ideal for my one-person cooking, if you require a large amount of capacity from your microwave, this is probably insufficient. A little more time must be spent cooking. But it was all I required. It does appear to contain a battery for power outages and will retain the clock settings for a brief period of time, which is useful.

Works exactly like it should and does everything I need it to. I was wondering if I would need to get a bigger size, but this microwave gets the job done every time.
