Coway Airmega 240 Green True HEPA Air Purifier Warm Gray: Quiet Operation, 300-500 sq. ft., Energy Star Certified

I was having issues with my downstairs neighbor cooking and the smell going through my floor vent. I decided enough was enough and looked into heppa air filters. I saw Coway recommended a few times and thought the design for the Airmax 240 looked nice and would fit neatly in my office. I was correct. It fit great. What I wasn't expecting was how easy to setup and maintain the unit would be. It has two filters, the Heppa filter which I clean once a month and replace annually and a front mesh filter that's simple to pop out (there is a convenient plastic tab) which I clean quickly each week using my dust buster. I literally change it along with my PC dust filters and it takes like 3 minutes. The front grill pattern is nice and the unit is very quiet unless you put it on max setting. I keep it on auto which automatically adjusts as needed and it only gets really loud if I fart into the sensor which makes the LED turn a comical red. Great machine and it can clean a large room and a lot of cooking and fart smells for those wondering. 👍

I like how quiet this runs. Even at full fan speed it’s like white noise. The air quality in my apartment is noticeably better after 2 days of running it. I run it on smart mode almost always and it meets my needs. It has a vintage look to it and blends well with decor. Love it!

Bought this one as a second filter because the first one (identical model) worked so well. Extremely quiet, works very well (judging by both elimination of wildfire smoke and sickness not getting passed between people in the same room over a long period of time).

I bought an Airmega 400 and 240 this past winter and love them. So I had buy another Airmega 240 for our master bedroom. It works so well that we sleep even better now with cleaner air. Night or sleep mode is so quiet but still cleans the air and automatically turns on from Smart mode. I like that you can also manually switch to sleep mode or turn off all the lights. This model is great for any room in the house.

I've owned several air purifiers over the years and this Coway Airmega is the best one. It's sleep feature is so quiet it doesn't disturb my sleeping. The design allows you to place it against a wall and has a screen you can pull out and clean. One of my co-workers recommend as she has had hers for several years and still loves it. My allergies are terrible and this has made a huge difference for me at home.

Very quiet unit. I don't even notice it is running on low settings. In Smart setting, it adjusts its fan speed based on what the sensor reads in the air. The only thing I wish it has wheels to move around a little easier without scratching the floors.

We pulled the carpet and started using this purifier and we noticed a big difference. We have it placed in between the kitchen and living room. It has removed the odors the previous owners left behind lol. It’s very easy to setup. It’s really quite I forget it’s on unless I see the light indicating it’s still on. I leave it on smart setting and just let it be. Our kitchen and living room is grayish it goes perfect with the decor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've actually never owned an Air Purifier before and recently moved into a smaller apartment, with pets, in the midst of allergy season. This machine is wonderful and was so easy to set up right out of the box. It's a little large, but being neutral colored is great for my space. It's not too loud, which was something I was worried about, and it's super simple to change the different modes. I like that I don't need to use a remote as I tend to just lose them/ end up using the buttons on whatever device I have anyways. I feel like the air in my apartment is so much better and cleaner. I haven't yet had to change out the filter but that also seems to be very easy! All in all, really happy with this and glad I finally thought about getting an air purifier.

But after only a few hours I already noticed a difference in the air quality in the room. My son has dust and pollen allergies and his sinuses were really bothering him. After a few nights of having the purifier in the house he doesn't seem to be having issues inside anymore. It was super simple to set up and get started and there's a light indicator to tell you when it needs a new filter. It's about as loud as a fan so not that bad. There's definitely a draft around it though where it shoots out the clean air and it can be a little chilly at times if you're right next to it. But I can definitely tell a difference in the quality of air in my house and I love it!

Operation is very easy and smooth. I love the smart option that selects the setting for you based on air quality. Once the smell went away from the new filter, it didn't take long and the air in the room seemed to be a much better quality. I like the ease of access and use of the pre-filter in the front. I clean it once a week with a vacuum. Great purifier and blows cold air out too.

My MIL used to smoke so I became a bit neurotic about the indoor air quality in our building (she lives downstairs) anyway, this air purifier is huge. I wasn’t expecting it to be this size but I am so glad it is, it has replaced the use of two purifiers I used in one area. The color and design make it look like art. It’s very nice.

The Airmega 240 is by far the best HEPA air purifier I have used in my home. We use it in the living room / kitchen I can totally tell a difference in the air when I return home absolutely no odors and really helps with my seasonal allergies. I leave it on Auto Mode and turn it up when cooking or vacuuming when I know the particles are airborne. Very lightweight and simple to setup to use immediately out of the box after removing the plastic wrapped filter. Just turn it on and forget about it while it does its job leaving fresh clean air effectively!
